Aww it must be really hard to lose someone you've been in love with for that long and had children with. I'm sure it will be made twice as difficult with the Sharks banging on his front door. I've really admired Johnny and I wish him, his children and his ex wife well.

In an interview I read a while back ago, Depp said that they decided to stay in France because it

was easier to be famous there, he, Vanessa, and their children could walk outside without being

jumped on by every person walking down the street...there also weren't people waiting outside his

bedroom windows every morning to get a snap shot of him.

He also mentioned some not-so-hot experiences in LA that really made him want to get away and start again, he wasn't happy about the choices he had made or the kind of life he was living. France gave him the ability to craft a new life in a way that he did not feel the US could.

He's said these things in a number of interviews of the years.

I would like Depp and Pitt to spend more time in the US.

Isn't it interesting that when an actor/ress is suffering from their career, things like this happen?

Anyways, I lost a lot of love for Johnny after his same old roles and pretentious attitude these past few years but this news is still sad especially because they have children to care for.
