Virtual memory issues

OK, just today, I upgraded my Opera browser to Opera 12 and almost immediately when you go to a site with a lot of Flash in it, it crashes or at least the Windows pops up with this "virtual memory minimum is low". So anyways after encountering this problem several times, I finally used that Fix It tool to increase the virtual memory (it worked). Then I went to Task Manager and checked Opera's VM size. Did you know that muthafucka gets up to around 930 MB?! My computer can get as high as 9160 but 930 MB for virtual memory is way too much for what was before a simple browser to use. I'm on Firefox now and the VM size is as similar to the actual memory size! And I think it's even lower on Chrome. I know Flash is always a problem but I thought that was interesting. Anyone had similar problems? I'm not looking for help, I just wonder who else has had this problem...

I had a similar problem with my old computer, someone told me I needed to get more RAM. In the end it crashed. Took the tower in to be fixed. Last computer I bought refurbished died after 3 months!

In the end I basically decided to get a brand new computer as I've previously saved money by buying a refurbished computer. Best decision I made getting a brand new computer system.

I don't know. I think my computer hates my Opera browser now. lol I could buy more RAM but I have to learn how to put it in and not mess anything up. Unfortunately in my college when studying computer programming, we never learned how to physically do it. We wrote about it though. neutral

Flash has been crashing on my PC (youtube videos stop playing and I get the little brick faced guy) once or twice a day since I installed their last update and I'm on Windows 7 with Firefox 12. Somethin' ain't right with Flash right now.

There should be a page for how to fix this out there somewhere, though. Virtual Memory issues have been around for as long as VM has existed.

lol I've been checking something they posted on there but I think it may be an Opera issue. Firefox don't give me that problem. lol

I also think it's a Flash issue. Also, when you ask them what's wrong, they tell you some bullshit like "uninstall it and reinstall an older version". But why would you wanna go through that? Then they act like there's nothing wrong because you didn't "give enough details as to why the Flash is acting like that." Flash immediately crashes when a YouTube video embeds on a site no matter which site actually.
