I know it sounds ridiculous and I guess I shouldn't have expected anyone to say but there are beautiful so called good looking people..I guess admitting it would be pompoous but fuck it--if you fine you fine. I just want to know from their perspective. Things like are they consciously aware of it all the time..how people treat them etc.

Do people really get treated differently based on their appearance in every day interaction?

Yes! And I have the empirical research to back it up. But the research never adreses the perosn , just the way people react to them

btw rumor has it you could be well versed in this--are you going to tell us how it feels..it can come from a man or womans perspectivr

No--if someonmes good looking and the know it (clap your hands) just kidding, they should say so. I want to know what it fels like, how their day goes. The looks they get, compliments, treatment ..Im sure its a noticable thing and I want to know what they feel in those situations etc.

lol No I mean really lol lol

I am not "well versed" in this at all. I never saw myself that way, in part because for the longest I really thought I was unattractive, esp. during those awkward teen years ill As a result, I became a very withdrawn, shy person.

If anything I only started getting, or taking compliments seriously, in the last few years. And even then, I still don't believe people because I fear they are trying to clown me in some way. So I will respond rather clumsily, with an awkward "thanks" and attempt to change the conversation or get out of the situation. I'm not good with compliments at all.

Hence, for the most part, if were to even receive any special treatment, looks, or compliments, I'd probably attribute them to something else. That's why I asked if that really happens... I'd read or heard about studies done on it, but never really thought I'd seen it play out.

Now I'll have to think back and reprocess past incidents into this possibility to see if that's really what was at play.

People do get treated differently when u look a certain, cuz one day I went to the club and got in free, just because of how I looked and what I was wearing, I offered to pay my way anyways, but the man insisted on letting me in for free, not 2 mention the unlimited free drinks u get... but then the one thing I hate about that is ur always getting harrased by guys u really don't feel like being bother with it the first place  Then from a woman's point of view, u have to deal with alot of jealousy and different women accuse u of trying to take there men when all reality u don't even know them, being beautiful is not what it's cracked up 2 be... I don't really have a single female friend because of jealousy, that's why I try not be ms prissy and high maitence, my mother hates the fact that I'm a lil tom boyish... she always say "but ur 2 pretty for that" I'm always like, mama please... that don't even phase me, see the only type of people I'm prejudice against is beautiful people cuz they think they can get specail treatment because of it... so what if some people include me in this catergory, I'm not like the rest of them okay lol

I don't go around walking with a mirror in my hand shake

Damn a nukka bare his heart and soul and I think I just got read reading I knew that whole avatar thread was asking for trouble err

Now that thats settled... how..does..it..feel? I know ladies are probably always checkin you out etc. What about service etc? Get extra help? More smiles from people? Are folks nicer to ya in general? Be honest.

Uhh...

Damn it feels good to see people up on it
'Cause I remember when at first they wasn't
Now guess what they caught from my cousin
The vapors
They caught the vapors

lol

Seriously? Yes, ladies do be checkin, and some bold enough to step up, which I gracefully welcome nod. I do get good service, women are very friendly and always smiling, and my interactions with complete strangers are for the most part pleasant. (Unless somebody does something that unleashes the STANKNESS boxed)

The more it happens, the more self-confident I guess I have become over the years. But I make sure it doesn't go to my head cuz I don't take myself that seriously.

Well not to sound like my shallow and self-centered self...awww fuck it...damnit I am hot and I know it and I am not afraid to show it. I show off my good looks all the time. I get hit on sometimes...but never by the right UPS guy... rolleyes long story that one is. However I do and have been hit on by some pretty creepy people, and that makes me wanna get ugly plastic surgery. So sometimes being pretty is not always what it is cracked up to be. Always remember true beauty is within...the outside looks are just a bonus.
