Elizabeth Berkeley's Career

I was flipping through channels earlier, and happened upon that show "Titus", and Elizabeth Berkeley was on it. Man, I forgot about her! That was the worst decision she ever made doing that "Showgirls" movie. Totally ruined her career! omg I don't think she's been in anything since. Anyone know?

well, for any actress with any degree of talent, a move like 'Showgirls' would indeed be a career-killer. But we're still talking about it, and her, and I think that's about as much as she ever could've hoped for! lol

When I saw the headline, my immediate thought was, "Does she have one?" But on checking IMDB, she's been busy post-Showgirls, albeit in totally immemorable product.

Yeah, a lot of those sound like B-movies to me. She wasn't exactly a very good actress anyway, and her career before "Showgirls" wasn't much either. But I think the movie got so hyped up before it came out because everyone had heard that she gets totally naked in it, and people wanted to see the girl from "Saved By the Bell" nude.

I have to admit though, I've seen that movie about 5 or 6 times. boxed It's one of my guilty-pleasures, and I love watching the cheesy show scenes, because they remind me of "Stayin' Alive", one of the best cheesy movies ever! lol

Yeah, well they put it on TV here in Holland all the time because Paul Verhoeven directed it, so it's like a Dutch pride thing. At least they never cut anything out of movies on TV here though.

She's becoming a b-movie goddess like Rose McGowen.

Rose has an interesting quality the Elizabeth doesn't.

For "Showgirls" alone she has her stake in fame.

The dialogue is such a riot in that movie... like no other...

I love Showgirls!!! That movie's hilarious! That's gotta be the BEST career move she ever made. She sucks as an actress and she's not much to look at. Had she not done it (like someone else pointed out) no one would remember her name.
