Those opposing his return feel his lucrative ten-year contract—signed in January 2010—can no longer be justified if he is brought back in a mid-level role. His second suspension hinders WWE from continuing to feature Orton in headline role since a third drug-testing policy infraction would result in automatic termination, or, as some have stated, a "one-year suspension."

In another potential factor, there is concern over the physical state of Orton, who has incurred numerous injuries over his twelve-year career. Some officials believe his body is breaking down and there are questions regarding the state of his neck and spine.

According to SuperLuchas.net, the nine-time world champion's suspension stems from a positive drug test for the anabolic steroid Dianabol, which is banned by the United States Congress under its Controlled Substances Act. However, that is not confirmed. F4WOnline.com says Orton claimed to test positive for a tainted supplement.

TMZ broke the story ... John blindsided his high school sweetheart Liz Cena with divorce papers back in May after 3 years of marriage.

Now, Liz's attorney Raymond Rafool tells TMZ ... they've been getting tips Cena had been messing around during the marriage ... which, if true, could be grounds for Liz to challenge the prenup.

"We're definitely following up on every lead relative to his being unfaithful before AND after the separation," Rafool says.

So far, it's unclear if Liz's camp has found any real leads.

When you were in the Spirit Squad, was there a feeling like this would brand you with a ‘stench’ that would be impossible to shake, or were you just happy to work with DX and Vince McMahon so early in your WWE career?

“We always knew going into it that groups don’t last forever and the best way possible to get out of that ‘stench’ so to say would be simply to fight each other or go back down to developmental and be repackaged. Fortunately Dolph had that opportunity, the other 3 got fired and I got brought back the following week as Dykstra. Spirit Squad was basically a group designed to bring back DX and that’s it. We came in as badass cheerleaders that took advantage of a 5-2 ratio and beat up every tag team they put in our way. Except when it came to DX, no 5 grown men could ever beat 2 not those 2 lol. This is where haters will say “duh haha you got superkicked and pedigreed.” But I’ma let them in on a secret. ITS FUCKING FAKE! I knew what was going to happen and I did because that was my job. That is equal to me saying haha you just got a stack of papers at your desk and now have to work more.”

“People don’t understand that this is a job. Nobody is really the champion of anything. It is a simple show that you watch and enjoy. “Everybody walks on egg shells backstage. Nobody gets an opinion and everyone is afraid to speak up. That is what i noticed the times i went back there after my release. The new guys are like little kids that got scolded by their mothers and are on strike 2 when they didn’t do anything to begin with. and most are ass kissers which only gets them faster out the door. Nobody has a chance to become anything unless WWE wants them to be. It seems no fun, nobody really jokes or plays around like they used too. I remember bringing heely’s backstage [the sneakers with wheels in the heels], following week everyone had them, we would have races and such but now they all seem afraid to have fun or afraid to smile. their like pawns waiting to get picked up and moved to a certain spot. Silly if you ask me.”

Can you shed more light on your recent comments that John Cena wanted Randy Orton fired when you were in WWE?

“It was the same night when Cena tried toughening up Carlito (which was absolutely stupid of Cena) he was pretty much bullying him because we all know if Carlito hit Cena and hurt him he would be fired plain and simple. But regardless once John calmed down I asked him what that was all about he ranted and other crap saying people need to hold their own weight around here and some how he got to Randy being suspended saying he is trying for Randy’s release to send a message to everyone that they can all be fired just as easily. As for now I don’t know if John is trying for Randy’s release or not but if I had to guess I would say it is due to the fact that he told me he was before. This assumption could be wrong (meaning this could be false and not the truth) however John telling me in the past he did want Randy fired is true (that’s true because he told me, see how that works haters?).”

Based on your recent tweets about your former relationship with Mickie James, it’s clear that behind-the-scenes romance often winds up affecting WWE storylines. What is WWE’s attitude towards wrestlers dating divas?

“It depends on who you are, top guy like Cena can do what he wants but most of the time they try to fuck with it like put you on separate shows and make one date another on TV. I think its a little sick joke but who knows really. I mean look at past relationships usually their on separate shows.”

Since a return to WWE does not seem likely at this point due to your issues with the company’s top star, are you interested in working for Impact Wrestling? (Turns into a tangent about his relationship with Mickie James, her cheating on him with Cena, Cena’s “rats” and clearing his reputation)

“This is where its going to get interesting i may stray from this question until the end but i will answer you.”

“So one day I see Mickie on the computer and I don’t give a damn it’s not my right to see what she is doing and it never was. I was always great to her. took her many places on vacations and bought her many things, was a great boyfriend. Now at the time Cena was messing around with another diva at the time (who’s name will remain anonymous because she had no effect on my life or job so its not our business) but i ended up using the computer once Mickie got off it and i went to Google and when you start typing it pulls up past searches. Past search was “Mickie James dating John Cena” so I’m not mad just curious I was like hey what the heck is this your trying to find info on? She stared at it for like legit 2 mins and I’m looking at her like “did you forget how to read? say something, WTF” she got up and ran into the other room crying saying she was sorry and she felt bad and admitted to it. I’m not one to get mad or jealous I don’t know why, I think it has to do with all the things I’ve been through as a child that you really cant hurt me much more than i have been already. So i look at it as there are SO many woman in this world why get upset over 1? to me that makes sense. So I don’t have John’s number so I call his diva “road” girlfriend. I ask her if she knows anything about it and she says she had a feeling because John recently dumped her and she is over him now. (yes by this point your probably thinking if WWE just videotaped the real lives of these wrestlers we would have a much better show to watch on Mondays).”

“So here i am sitting on my porch trying to piece all this crap together. Got 1 diva who is married to a guy outside of the business but she sleeps with Cena, then we got Cena who sleeps with rats (groupies, girls not in the biz, girls in the lobby waiting for an invite upstairs, in some countries mules because their fat) and this married diva, and now my girlfriend, then i got Mickie who is supposed to be my girlfriend who is Googling if her secret has been let out. Now I’m thinking before I do anything stupid and risk losing my job that I’ve worked for since I was 13 and gave up college scholarships to play football for I need to think of the best way to handle this. I tell Mickie just leave, go to your moms house or your sisters i just need time to think. I decide to call WWE office and ask for John’s number and explain what happened. They say their sorry and try to make me think they got my side. Following weeks I’m off TV and off the road until i get sent to Smackdown. Ironically Johns former diva got sent too. So now were on complete separate schedules and when their is a joint PPV I’m off the road that day too and get flown in on a Monday for a Tuesday Smackdown. Yeah complete B.S. I get jobbed out then they take me off the road more and fire me. When Johnny ace called me to fire me I asked him if this is why I’m getting fired. He told me we don’t have anything for you and depending on whether you choose to discuss this issue will determine on if your allowed to come back in the future. (so basically if i mention Cena and Mickie then I’m banned) I decide i will keep it to myself since I just want to wrestle and entertain people.”

“I go back every time their in my area and they always say the same leading on words (we like you we will call you in a week) then never call me at all. So I now figured out their just going to keep doing this because if they piss me off i will reveal their Superstar for what he really is and if they bring me back I could start trouble with Cena and that wouldn’t be great for the company either. Lets go back a little bit shall we. So now I’m gone from WWE and Mickie and Cena are banging full time having a merry old time. Mickie becomes champ, get TV roles and gets attached too. John knowing this is going too far needs to put a stop to it so he breaks it off for whatever reason (maybe he felt guilt as he was getting married) and Mickie flips out cries all over backstage snotting everywhere and it looks really bad. She now loses her title and jobs out and becomes Piggy James (inside joke since she was a piggy for sleeping around, they even had Jared from subway introduce her – ya know, “roast beef”) then gets fired.”

“Now to answer your question. I get flown into TNA to try out. before my try out I see Dixie Carter and tell her thank you for bringing me in and I hope she gets a chance to see what I can do. We talk for a little bit and she ends the conversation with “ya know for a guy who got fired for a bad attitude I don’t think your that bad” I’m like what! so i chase her down and say Mrs. Carter why did you say that and where did you get that information if I might ask. She said its all over the internet. So I do my research and find it all over the place that i got fired from WWE for a bad attitude. So now John and Mickie took my personal life, took my job, and left me with a bad reputation. That’s real nice.”

“When i was there in November i was actually excited to talk with John and I wanted to bury this all. He walked by I put my hand out and said hey you got a minute? he didn’t shake my hand and said “for you absolutely not” so i was like “really OK John, that’s cool”. So to all you people that disagree with me bringing this up now Its merely to clear my name of having a bad attitude, I respond to you haters with respect and I don’t poke fun at you through twitter or anywhere. and because I now realize that if John is there then I probably wont ever be in WWE again. And i understand WWE’s point, he is a bigger star and he is their number 1 guy. I get it i own my own business and am happy doing what i do. I’m not doing this for 15 mins of fame or to try to get bookings or anything like that. The Moppy gimmick in WWE: "The people, for the most part, really enjoyed that Moppy stuff," said Saturn. "Unfortunately, I was so high all the time, I have such a clouded memory. I don't remember most of it... All the ideas were the writers. I had no idea. Like I said, I was so stoned all the time, I'm lucky I made it to the shows, let alone come up with anything creative. WWE has an outstanding creative staff, they come up with stuff. They try to come up with ways to get everybody over and you do or you don't. I didn't have anything to do with that creative because at the time, I really hated it too...Now, I get the humor of it. At the time, my main concern was making sure nobody knew I was high."

Hiding his drug habits in WWE: "If they had found out, they would have sent me to rehab. They always, for whatever reason, took care of the guys as best they could. But I didn't want to quit doing everything. I didn't want to go to rehab. I wanted to keep doing things the way I was doing them. I wasn't a big drinker. So when you drink a lot on top of doing drugs, that's really hard to hide that. I think that's what helped me keep mine hidden was that I just did the opiates, which was easier for me to hide."

Chris Benoit: "All the time I'd been with Chris, I honestly don't think I've seen him mad. I'm sure he'd been upset, but mad? I've been mad where they've had to grab me and calm me down mad. Eddie's been so mad that I've seen Eddie throw a f****ing pool cue across a bar for just about no reason. I've seen Dean twice scream at somebody. I've never seen Chris do that. All those times I went out every night partying - because that's what I did - and on occasion I was able to drag these guys out with me. Chris told me on day one - and it never changed - that he didn't cheat on Nancy. Chris was a faithful husband and loving father. I have no idea what happened. People who were in WCW management being in TNA: "It's amazing. The 'Predictability of Stupidity' is unbelievable. To believe that someone could see what they did (in WCW) and use their own money to give these people another chance to do it again. Tell me TNA is going to be a successful business. That's hard to believe. Eventually that woman's going to run out of money and you have to think someone else will give them the same opportunity. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time was one of Vince Russo's Tweets, obviously after they let him go. He said he was sure glad to see the lucrative deal TNA signed with Hulk Hogan especially since Hogan's only appearances in TNA are during his Rent-a-Center ads. Nobody should ever get paid to stay home."

On Extreme Rising and what made ECW special: "The ECW fans are totally different than any other fans. So it's wicked cool. I'm at Extreme Rising on the 30th this month. The show on the 29th is going to be outstanding too... I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to my match more than any other match in a long time. I have no idea who I'm working with or anything, I'm just glad to be in front of the ECW fans again, you know...In ECW and WWE - both places - the guys worked as hard as they could. The difference was that that ECW fans made the whole experience different. They were special, man. They never had fans like that anywhere else."

Onward, Christian soldier: WWE champ headed to B-N

Among the WWE Smackdown superstars coming Sunday to Bloomington’s U.S. Cellular Coliseum is current Intercontinental champ Christian, defending his title against challenger Cody Rhodes.

If Bloomington was ancient Rome and the U.S. Cellular Coliseum was that OTHER Coliseum, they’d be feeding the lions to Christian this weekend, with no table scraps.

Despite a marquee name that suggests tender mercies and the turning of other cheeks, Christian would only be turning necks.

Clear ’round … wrung clean.

As for the kings of the jungle … have a rec room wall in need of some mounted kings’ heads?

Born William Jason Reso 38 years ago, Christian isn’t the WWE’s reigning Intercontinental Champ for nothing — and certainly not for being a pussycat to bigger pussycats.

In short, there’s no turning of other cheeks for this Christian.

But extreme head-banging?

Now we’re talking the kind of doing-unto-others that we love and expect from our WWE Smackdowns.

That includes the one pummeling its way into the Coliseum at 5 p.m. Sunday, along with Christian’s fellow head-banging brethren, like Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Kane.

Chief among them: the man who would be intercontinental king, Cody Rhodes, who’ll challenge Christian’s reign in one of the Smackdown’s most anticipated face-offs.

As Christian reminds us, the regal titles he wears at the moment are merely the latest in a long line over an 18-year career —22 total titles, including six times as world champ (among the latter, two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champ and two-time ECW Champ).

Still, he agrees, “It’s kind of cool to be Intercontinental Champion,” even at the relatively mature age he’s reached in a career approaching two decades. “It means a great deal.”

In a reflective, non-combative mode, Christian flashes back to his days as young Billy Reso, growing up in Orangeville, Ontario.

A long way from the 6-foot-1 stature he would one day attain, Billy harbored dreams of pro wrestling glory in the way a dreaming kid might do it: “I used to make my own title belts out of cardboard and attach them to the back of my weightlifting belt, then hold it up in the mirror and practice my posing.”

The net result of that dreaming speaks for itself.

“My thought was that if you believe you’re a champion and work hard at it, you’ll finally get to that point.”

There was, however, a moment when it looked like that native Canadian sport of hockey might trump the implications of the adorned weightlifting belt.

“I loved playing hockey growing up as a kid, but the first time I stepped into a ring, it seemed natural to me, like home,” he says, adding no such reverberations were transmitted while facing down a puck on ice.

“The first day of training, I was a kid thrown into the ring, and the minute I hit the ropes and the mat, it felt comfortable.”

Or at least as comfortable as hitting ropes and mats with brute force can be.

It didn’t hurt that he had a best friend in high school, name of Adam Copeland. Like Billy Reso, Copeland felt the need to be a lord of the ring.

The mutual admiration society led them onto the Canadian independent circuit as a tag team variously known as High Impact and The Suicide Blondes.

In 1998, Copeland was signed by the World Wrestling Federation; Reso followed on his heels. The best friends found themselves pitted in a tryout match which the former was booked to win.

The end result: Copeland signed with the WWF, with Reso — championed by his best friend — following suit.

They were now fully formed pro wrestling entities, with Copeland adopting the name of Edge and Reso starting out as Christian Cage (an amalgam of actors Christian Slater and Nicolas Cage), then downsizing to just Christian.

The rest is tag-team history, with Edge and Christian adopting assorted ring personalities as they racked up multiple tag team championships before heading their separate ways.

Over the course of their boyhood-to-manhood run, “we kind of helped each other and pushed each toward the same goals,” he recalls. “We made each other better because we were on the same wavelength.”

And, just at the point of burnout, “we decided when the time was right for us to go our separate ways.”

Alas for Edge, that way led to a serious neck injury a year ago that forced Christian’s best friend from way back into early retirement.

“Yeah, I was the first person he called after he got the news (about the injury). It was one of those things where I had to listen and be there for him,” Christian recalls. “I could tell he was upset about it once it sunk in. I told him that if was writing the end to his story, this was the perfect way to finish it off, just winning the WrestleMania (XXVII) world championship, the biggest show of the year. You can’t write a better ending than that.”

As for his own final chapter?

Despite a serious, sidelining ankle injury of his own in the past year, Christian is still ready to chow down on any lion who would be king.

“Having a long career with real lasting power has always been a goal,” he says. “So as long as I’m physically able to do what I do, I’ll keep doing it.”

No one here in America seems to care, but it seems that TNA and my favorite PURORESU promotion Pro-Wrestling NOAH have some kind of a talent exchange going on. Maybe it's just a one time thing, but NOAH has a HUGE card coming up July 22 at the Sumo Hall in Tokyo. They have been struggling for the past few years, have had no TV deal since late 2009, and have seen their live attendance fall completely off, despite the fact that they still put on the best matches out there. Revelations that they were backed by the Yakuza didnt help matters, and this July 22 show, in a venue that seats 12,000, is CRUCIAL. They seem to be pulling out all the stops.

For the GHC Junior Heavyweight Title: Champion Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. Christopher Daniels

This match could steal the show (though the main event of Morishima vs. Shiozaki for the Heavyweight title should be damn good). The match that has everyone going goofy in Japan right now...for the GHC Heavyweight Tag Titles: Champions Jun Akiyama & Akitoshi Saito (the guy who delivered the final suplex to Mitsuharu Misawa) vs. Samoa Joe & Magnus. I'm not too excited for that one, even though any matchup between Akiyama and the Samoa Joe of 2004/5 would have been ridiculously sick. Dont know if Joe cares anymore, but maybe a return to NOAH could rev up his juices.

Anyway...I'm excited and hopeful that these additions (as well as the return of Super Crazy to NOAH for the big show) will help them stay alive. These TNA guys dont get much respect over here, but they're pretty over in Japan. They were a big part of New Japan's massive Tokyo Dome shows during TNA's working agreement with NJ, and tend to put asses in the seats outside of the US. Japanese fans are excited, which makes me even more hopeful.

Here's hoping some NOAH guys guest on TNA shows so I have a reason to watch!
