Does Soul Train still come on BounceTV?

Haven't seen it in a few months. On Mondyas they would run 5 episodes back-to-back earlier in the years than one day it was gone.

Doesn't even come on in the morning anymore.

It still comes on weekends. The weekday Soul Train seems to be replaced by Bounce Beats, which shows current music videos. I don't watch it. Maybe since they were showing the same 20 or so ST episodes over and over, people stopped watching it. The Monday evening episodes have been replaced by The New Fat Albert Show. You can still catch Richard Pryor movies though. razz

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

It is a shame how that did that show. Showed the same old eps with famous people, never the rarer ones. BOO!

I don't know about that. I haven't seen one with any Jacksons other than Janet. No Stevie Wonder either, except the Minnie Riperton tribute. The episodes from the 1990's & 2000's were mostly people I've never heard of. lol

They ran the 1972 episode alot that had Jackson 5 (with Jermaine gettin' a starring role as they were promoting his debut.)

They also ran a another 1972 episode that featured Stevie Wonder and I wanna say Betty Wright.

I think they're down to only once a day now. As far as I'm concerned, they can just take it off the air. If they wonder why the ratings drop, it's because they show the same damn episodes over and over again. Show some episodes they haven't shown and the ratings will pick back up. Hell, once I've recorded one, I don't want to see again on the air except maybe one other time for those that missed it the first time. But if people want to see it over and over again, they'll watch their tapes and DVDs that they've recorded.

Andy is a four letter word.

I see Centric showed an episode from 92/93 with R. Kelly performing "Bump and Grind" and "Your Body's Calling." That was good to see.

Must've did it for their R. Kelly week... they need to have a Marvin Gaye week one day so I can see Marvin's three episodes. Especially the 1977 one in which he whupped Don's ass in basketball with Smoke as the referee. razz Don actually came out with clown shoes the first time. eek falloff He should've known Marvin was damn serious about what he was doing. wink

That would be cool 2 c also. I think they are on the ST DVD set. I know "Let's Get It On," "Got To Give It Up" and the basketball episode are on DVD.

I saw a couple of Betty Wright episodes, but neither were with the J5. I think one was with Tyrone Davis. I remember one was with 3 acts.

I mean Betty and Stevie. The Jacksons always had a complete show to themselves everythime the appeared. Only when Jermaine left the brothers, he would be with another guest or Randy and Marlon's rare performances.

Check this out.

I wish they show any of the other family members on Soul Train. So far, have seen the 72 episode of Jermaine Jackson featuring the Jackson 5. 1980 episode featuring Jermaine. 1982 episode and 1986 episode featuring Janet.

I wanna see the Randy episode when he performed in 1978 solo.

I think the only way they'll show them all is if they actually host Soul Train every weekday with episode from each season. nod

I didn't. But TBH, I don't really watch TV. See, the thing is, there is just so much frikkin' porn on the internet with a disproportionately large amount of it being free, that by the time I get my daily fill of it, there's really no room left in my day to watch anything else.
