Because of his extreme, unconventional imagery, sense of humour and because many of his movies suggest a certain questioning our own human race and its capabilities. "Pulp Fiction" and "Inglourious Basterds" are absolute masterpieces.


I feel ya. The extremes of human behavior without being characterizations. The characters are all extremely believable, accessible, and multi-dimensional. Addressing the nature of both good and evil in all people, and the manner in which they blend and/or utilize them. Coupled with what those measures gain or lose them.
