I've answered this before...

I would do everything I could to get as close to them as possible. If I could communicate that I wanted them to take me with them, assuming they were leaving, I would. If they were asking for volunteers, I'd beat a mf'er down to get to the front of the line. lol I'm all about gettin' off this rock. If they weren't taking people I would still want to get as close as possible. See all I could. Touch them. Smell them. Whatever.

And I guess I agree with imago a little - I would be relieved. But more so because I'd know I was right in my belief that they're out there, somewhere.

So what makes you think alien farts are any better than human ones?

You should read this book:

It's gorgeous and kind of heartbreaking.

It's what you make it.

Sounds very interesting. Exactly the kind of stuff I like to read when I'm not stuck in Star Trek or re-read mode. I added it to my buy list, which does actually exist, btw. It's an Excel spreadsheet that I regularly update, print and take with me when I go book shopping. I go to a lot of bookstores, new and used, and I used to double buy things all the time before the list. confused lol

I'd ask them for spare change. Partly as a test but mostly to get some spare change.

Don't you remember the twilight zone episode when they took the people of Earth back with them and the human didn't figure out that they were going to be cooked up for dinner until he was on the spaceship. eek

At this point my life has been more full than I ever expected. If flying off into space with an alien species meant it was over, I'm cool with that. Some people will call bullshit and say there's no way that's true. You wouldn't feel that way if it really happened. etc. etc. etc. But they'd be wrong. See, for me, I don't think there's anything that could bring me more happiness than this. I'd die happy, in complete peace with the knowledge that there is something other than our sorry asses out there in the universe. lol I get why some people find that hard to imagine. But for me, that's pure truth.

Dear, you are not an alien. There is no flying home, unless you take jet blue to Kearney New Jersey. I fear the fall you took when riding your unicycle without your helmet has caused you to have a relapse sigh

hug Ka'lel, is that you? what took you so long? which glalaxy were you visiting this time???
