Success is always the best form of revenge imho. cool

Doesn't work when someone kills someone you love.

But, generally I agree with you.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

ive realised that watching ppl fall flat on their faces is perfect revenge!!!!

those who go around being rude nasty individuals eventually hit a brick wall which its always their own doing

seeing that happen is good enough and it just goes to show how powerful karma can b nod

Is it just as bad to have revengeful thoughts if not acting on them? Like, really bad ones?

It's normal. Especially if you've been harmed.

Writing about it several times helps. Keep writing about the same event until you notice your not plagued with these kind of thoughts anymore.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

yeah that's what I do, though it can take months to years to get it out, depending on how deep it runs....

I was emotionally harmed by someone last year, but was already harmed even worse before anyways, so my reaction was normal though I was beating myself up for it, and was told by my therapist and sister they are just thoughts and to stop beating myself up for it

Exactly. You are not resposible for other people who have harmed you. That is on their behalf.

You are responsible to take care of yourself and make sure you get rid of that burden so you can enjoy your life and be good to the ones you love.

Is revenge important to me? Hell yes!!!biggrin

However, I believe in Karma and I'm pretty much satisfied in knowing what goes around come around. That's the best revenge.

See. This is me, too. BUT. There are times when I have been wronged terribly and want blood! However, I usually calm my ass down, seeth a bit, and let Karma do the rest. There have been times when I have sought revenge by "exacting minor irritants." nod shrug innocent

Co-sign on what Timmy said. I get revenge by cutting mfers off. They're dead to me - I don't acknowledge them, they no longer exist in my world.

Word. nod

Yes, I have done this, too. But I think the ultimate revenge is indifference. If you can honestly think about the person and the dirty deed and feel nothing either way, you've crossed a threshold.

I don’t believe in revenge at all.

Justice when a crime is committed, yes.

But not revenge.

This.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
