Gotta love the Onion.

Very funny, I had a book by the Onion, called "Our Dumb Century" which showed satirised newspaper headlines from the 1900 - 2000 period like "Holy Living Fuck, man walks on the surface of the fucking moon" and WA- headline continued on next page and underneath it "Coca Cola named official sponsor of the second world war" and my other favourite, World War 2 over, now time for 40 years of nuclear cold war paranoia" and one from 1953 "Joe McCarthy says heavy petting and sharing Malts leads to communism".

Another oen from 1947 or 48, says "50 people dead from horrendous Joan Crawford Makeup" and another shows a picture of Roosevelt as a zombie and it says "Roosevelt's remains to run for 5th term".

A very funny paper.

My 11 year old son blames everything on Justin Bieber.

"The world is ending... Justin Bieber did it!"

Forgotten homework:

"Justin Bieber passed gas and I passed out."

Chores not done (ie room not clean):

"Mom, you know Justin Bieber is to blame! He looked at me and I hid in my room, too terrified to move."

Did not pick up after the dog (when taking dog for a walk):

"But mom, I couldn't pick it up. It looked just like Justin Bieber. I had to leave it there so that it would be preserved for the masses."

Brat! It is hard to discipline a child when you are too busy trying to keep a straight face and not bust out laughing so they understand the seriousness of the issue. Those are just a few examples of what is Justin Biebers' fault according to my son.

I Love that book. My favorite bit is from the Bush/Gore election debicle and Clinton declares himself president for life. Good Times.
