This is my favorite place...

Everybody has their place to go to be alone, reflect, whatever.

In South Florida, there is a place called "Blowing Rock".

Long ago, volcanic eruptions made a reef allong the shore. When the tide comes in, it runs under the reef and blows out little "blow holes" and shoots 25 to 50 feet into the air.

Quite the site.

Anyway, it's also my favorite place to take pictures.

Very nice photos, yamomma... ...it looks similar to a beach I go to when I need some "meditation time"...

By the way, I'm helping take the photos this weekend for the L.A. Marathon...my first time...should be a blast (plus it pays $$$...lol)

there's a few places with these sort of rocks in Australia... one's called the Kiama Blowhole .. cool pics

By the way, the light ring around my arms was a complete happy mistake.

When I was developing those pics, I had a braclet on. The light from the enlarger leaked out sideways and reflected from my bracelet on my wrist onto the paper.

Total freak accedent, but the end result was cool.

Growing up in Tennessee, I had the mountains. Here in south Florida, I have this place.

Thinking of those that grow up in the city... I kind-of think they miss out.

All taken today, on my way to visit my parents. Driving in the storm, hail and all... was beautiful. Although I love mountains, desert and deep canyons, I would equally adore being near the ocean as well..., the power of water allure's me.

Very beutiful photos Yamomma, wish my girlfriend would let me take pictures of her in a breath taking setting like that topless, but of course girls always think they are not as beutiful as they really are, it's always the same thing, need to lose a little weight or my hair is messed up or blah, blah, blah.

I had taken a series of several girls at that place. Not my girlfriends though. Just friends.

My wife saw what I did and then decided to give me a try.

There were only a handful out of about 5 rolls of film that she actually liked.

There will be a blowing rock page on the new studio site with all the cool ones.

I need to get cracking on that project. Who knows, maybe that site will make me money.
