I've been pretty lucky, but I did have a shitty boss when I worked in my college library.

I worked in a private school where I could not get along with the principal.

and i cant remember his name well it was a looooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago

anyway i was 19 and worked 4 peanuts!!! my boss comes in with a huge can money box, it was massive and very very very heavy!!!

he offered me 20% of what was in there if i counted it so of course i said yes!!! even tho it meant i was missing out on my lunch break

so i got someone to get me some hot chips and then i got a can opener and opened it up..... $$$$

i poured the money over my desk... and yes i was not thinking straight because i 8 the chips at the same time!!!

just by looking at it i was sure i'd be going home with $200

so here I was eating away sorting out the coins and notes...

and then story climax............ with a mouth full of chips i...........

Mother Fucker had pubic hair amongst his savings

but WTF was his name... damn i cant remember

yes he was the worst boss by far

My worst boss was my last one.

He was bipolar without a doubt.

One minute he was ripping you a new one...next minute he was your best friend.

Alot of days he would start the morning by assembling the technicians in the back room and start screaming at them for mistakes they made.

Worst part that he would often blame you for shit that HE set into motion and just went sour.

Definitely the worst by far...but he paid good...so alot of us just dealt with it.

She was a racist old hag who believed all stereotypes and treated the kids (and staff) accordingly.

Her mind was slammed shut so tightly...

We could not find any common ground.

While i was in mgmt training for a large chain, I worked with various types of personalities. I learned a little or a lot from each of them, except one.

He had anger management issues...I heard he would throw the phone across the room because it rang at the wrong time. I didn't learn a thing from him. The company rewarded him with a brand new store too. He never gave me a hard time though, probably because I was the young hot-shot who was sent to help him close up his old store before the grand opening of his new store.

Those types of personalities would never make it in todays work environment....he was a definate old-schooler.

1. Chips/Fries

Umm, In the British world, French fries are chips as well. Chip is an all encompassing term covering potato chips, cold crunchy ones sold in foil packets, hot chips which are called shoestrings if thin like French fries, chips if normal size and thick ones are called wedges. waffle fries and curly ones are early unknown here (Mainly as they are too fattening). The only place we call them French fries is at American chains like Maccas and BK.

Scriptgirl you have to realise that the UK, New Zealand and Australia have different names for some foodstuffs thean the USA. For instance your biscuits are actually scones in our country and a cookie is called a biscuit as well.

2. Bad Bosses

Had a few, my last one was a real stuck up yuppy WASP on the cell phone type who constructively dismissed me after finding a more qualified guy to do my job. He sacked me after a couple of trumped complaints and gave me a months salary as compensation. He was nasty and I found an email saying he did not like me because I was part Maori and gay.
