Like many of you, I was sincerely disappointed with yesterday's new poster for The Dark Knight Rises. Rather than come up with something new or interesting, they just took the original teaser poster design, added some flames, and threw Batman in the middle of it. While the backlash will end up doing nothing to affect the final film or the box office numbers,the studio has responded by releasing three new character posters that are definitely a step up from yesterday's artwork.

The three new one-sheets don't have much variation, but do give us brand new looks at Batman, Catwoman and Bane, played by Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Hardy, respectively. You can check out all three below.

Despite the fact that every single character in this movie franchise wears all black, with the exception of the Joker (still, he looks like Beetlejuice's twin brother), therefore, I find 'em a bit visually boring,
I'm really diggin' these Dark Knight films.
Really lookin' forward to this one.

I think it's funny that someone on another site said these look like the posters for a new Batman musical on Broadway.

I hope that it's seriously good. At times I've found the Nolan movies a little po faced. I hope there's some humour in this one. Whichever way you look at it, a bloke dressing up in a bat suit fighting a woman in a cat suit is pretty ridiculous.
