years ago, for some unknown reason I was suddenly unable to see org avatars. It has drove me nearly crazy during many attempts to fix the problem with out success.

Today, just minutes ago, for some unknown reason they came back to me! woo hoo!

I'm sure this thread will sink like a lead balloon but..that's ok cause I can see avatars again!

I've never had an avatar, so please do not try to adjust the picture on your set just because you don't see an avatar below my name.

Maybe it was never your computer.
It has been scientifically proven that some people's eyeballs have the physical inability to see avatars. It has something to do with height . Some people are just not tall enough to see avvies. And even tho it's usually only a temporary condition, it's an impairment that can last for years.
However, as your height increases, so does your ability to see into the specific realm of the visual spectrum where avvies are located.
If you can see avatars now, it could simply mean that you're growing.
You might want to think about changing your screenname.

I was unable to see avvies for a while and then they came back to me, too. Mine were only missing for a month or so. I don't remember doing anything different to make them go or come back.

perhaps....BUT since I haven't grown since about 13 years old and I'm about to be 39 (coughtomorrowcough) it's highly unlikely I'm growing.
