in defense of will smith, unwanted touching (on certain areas of the body) can be considered a type of assault. this man kissing w smith was completely out of line.

There is no "so what". Will didn't apprectiate it and that was his right. When have you ever seen reporters in a setting like that one, get touchy, feely with celebraties?

Will was being a good sport at first but the reporter wasn't letting him go.

Can you imagine if the paparazzi were to start that shit? All hell would break loose and there'd be dead celebs and paps all over the place!

Did he put his hands on Madonna though? Celebs get mobbed by crazies all the time and Will had no way of knowing this guy's intentions. Different people have different instinctive reactions and Will did what he probably would have done on the streets of North Philly, where he's from.
