Um, can you blame him? Will Smith slapped a male TV reporter who tried to kiss him before yesterday's Moscow premiere of Men in Black III.

A reporter from the Ukrainian television channel 1+1 approached Smith on the red carpet, put his hand on the actor's shoulder and tried to kiss him -- and it was all caught on tape.

Smith pushed him away and then slapped him lightly across the cheek with the back of his left hand. "He's lucky I didn't sucker punch him," said a laughing but surprised Smith.

TMZ reports that the reporter, Vitalii Sediuk, is known for his odd practice of kissing celebrities.

Sorry, but he was well within his rights. You can see he's obviously not okay with that behavior and idc bout any rumors of his sexuality. Someone came up kissing on me, they'd get the same kind of shakedown. It's not polite to put your mouth on someone if they don't ask.

Will was being gracious when the guy just grabbed him and hugged him, by hugging him back. Then the guy kissed him once and Will didn't seem put off. It wasn't until Will turned his head and the guy went in for another kiss that Will was like WTF? and I can't say that I blame him. That reporter was rather aggressive and I'd say he's lucky all Will did was give him that backhanded tap. If Will were homophobic he'd have more likely than not, knocked his ass the fuck out.

The cheek kiss thing is par for the course. Certainly Will has encountered that across Europe by now. I think this guy, though, went for a full-on in-the-mouth snog. Happens so quick, it's tough to tell. But you can hear Will point it out.

It wasn't until he realized he was trying to line up their lips. Otherwise, yeah, I totally agree. It's not like he was being weird about contact, which is already weird from a reporter on a red carpet.
