So, i have learned the hard way's about some working issues. Since being back in LA i realized, i could have pushed way harder than i did to get some of my set work.

Since being back i have been getting jobs left & right, and it has just been... well AMAZING. I Was in such a rut months ago, but now everything is turning out fantastic. I am good at my job, but sometimes i didn't let that shine & i became lazy. And i didn't put my foot in the door enough!, it's not ''easy'' working out here.

I work in the so called ''entertainment industry'' doing sound design work{Boom mics, sound mixing Post & on set sound, dialogue etc.)

And since being back i am seeing the cut throat bullshit that happens, but thanks to coming to set on time, working hard & just Hulk smashing through

So i feel the happiest i have felt in.................... well idk but it's been awhile

What did you fellow orgers do to get your jobs? did you have to do anything crazy? put some foot up asses? in doors? yell at people?

I've always been incredibly lucky with jobs. I never really went into any proper career. I never had any big ambitions and just applied for jobs because they looked... nice. I have never had to put up a fight for a job or struggle to survive. I have at least really liked every job I have had though - I could never stay in a job that bores me - life is too short.

I have utter espect for people that work hard to keep their jobs.

I was ambitious... but i was also lazy when i wanted to be , with any job you have to work decently hard to maintain a good word of mouth.

You do something i personally couldn't do, work job to job on different types. I want to try to use one in my field and stick with it... FOREVER
