This is Bangkok

A neat video created as part of a student project.

It doesn't nearly ecompass the true scope of what it's like to be in this city,

but it's nice to see nonetheless.

Thais genearl whitewash images of the city and remove any hints of the

rampant pollution and garbage strewn about the streets everywhere lol

Feel free to post your own location specific videos.

I watched all that and didn't see any middle-aged Englishmen buggering 11-year-old boys. Photoshop some in, Dan.

On second thoughts, he's obviously a fat American paedophile as opposed to a fat British one. Do you have any pictures of Gary Glitter?

I really want to visit Bangkok one day (no, I'm not interested in worn-out 9-year-old minges)!

It was difficult to find a video that represents all the lovely aspects of Vienna (the old trams are missing, the "Kaffeehauskultur" is not shown, there are not enough shots of the Graben or Kärntner Straße etc)l, but I think this one comes close:

That was beautiful!

I reminds me so much of Florida. Parts of Epcot center totally look like that.

I toally shall, but the weather needs to be nice when I go.

I figure in late May-ish timeframe.

I absolutely adored Saltzburg(sp?), but was told to see Vienna, but didn't have time.

Depends on your definition of "nice weather". May is lovely, because it's not too hot, but beware if you're allergic to pollen (like I am)! If you like hot and dry, come in August. If you like long, hot summer nights with rain showers from time to time, come in late June.

Salzburg is really nice too (especially if you like beer)!

I miss authentic Thai food here...and the exotic fruit they have there. I see some mangosteen in that video.

You should come to Germany right now...it´s cold, gray, a bit windy and rainy.

I hate the weather here. lol

Can´t decide whether I should ride my bicycle to get to the gym or not. That´s how bad the weather is. But ...right now, there is a little bit of sunshine outside and the birds are chirping.

Have to get going right now while it´s still nice outside.

One thing that is missing in that video is the extreme noise. Bangkok is probably THE loudest city I´ve ever visited.

This one's my favorite:

This one's OK and showcases a bit more flashy stuff. It's a little older. (And produced for the 2008 GOP convention. Which was in St Paul. Bleh.)

Not a single shot of Dan shooting anything out of his butthole for a cheering American audience.

This is not Bangkok. This is bullshit.

I have lived in several different cities in the world, and I must say, I do not "love L.A.," I enjoyed other cities better. But I was born & raised here so what can I do. I ended up back here to raise my own kids in this godawful place.
