Why and where did you learn Turkish? That´s interesting.
I speak English, Turkish and German fluently. I used to speak French fluently but have forgotten it almost completely. I still understand basic French and can still communicate a bit, so I guess it´s only a matter of months and a bit of dedication to be able to speak a bit French again. I can read and understand Dutch but can´t speak or understand spoken Dutch.
I would love to learn Spanish, and maybe Japanese but only if I had to live in Japan for a while. If I had an Italian girlfriend I´d learn Italian.

Yes...but I guess I have a hard time comprehending this because anytime I try to read/write another language, the first thing I do is try to sound out the words and make associations.
So, for example, I can write phrases such as "C'est la vie", "Auf Wiedersehen" or "Kamsahamnida" and know how to pronounce them (even though I don't know French, German or Korean).
But if I could read and write in those languages, I assume that I could pronounce what I was writing, ergo "speak" those languages.
Does that make ANY sense??? By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

English German
or rather a weird hybrid of these two languages I've nicknamed "Denglish" (Deutsch + English)
When on a work assignment some Italian.
at church every Sunday (with a congregation reprsented by 60 different countries), you can throw in Spanish and some new-fangled terribly mangled broken Potuguese and Japanese.

On a daily basis I use polish, but I try to do my best to practise english every single day. The org is one of the places I visit to do so and I can say it's really helpful I also used to learn French for 4 years or so, but now I can hardly remember anything ;_; But the moment I start my college in October, I'll star learning it again, promise! I could also say something about german but I guess it's not necessary as I can't speak it at all, even though I was learning the language for 3 years... -.-
Oh, and my friend from Korea once taught me how to introduce myself in her language - sooo cool, one day I'll master that one as well!

On a daily basis - English.
I know a tiny little bit of Turkish and a tiny little bit of French. And Mushanga taught me some filthy-dirty Finnish words.
