What Language(s) do you speak on a Daily Basis?

I was speaking to another half-Thai friend of mine via skype, when it dawned on me

that she doesn't speak English normally on a daily basis....only on her 'Internet' life.

She's so capable speaking it that I forget her accent, and her grammar is perfect.

But, she speaks Dutch normally!

She can also speak Thai....That makes three language she speaks fluently,

while I can only speak one fluently, and 2 rather amaturishly. confused

What do you speak on a daily basis?

If you speak more than one language, how did you learn the second one?

I normally speak English (I think in English now) I speak Spanish with my folks ....but when I am excited or angry I fly into Spanglish with out rhyme nor reason, and folks who either speak English or Spanish get confused.

I've taken Spanish classes since middle school, but I couldn't speak a whole sentence for you right now if you asked me. lol

I've always wanted to speak fluent Italian though. If I could afford Rosetta Stone, I would take advantage. Folks say that Rosetta works wonders.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

That reminds me how aweful my French is (learned it in school for 4 years) lol. And how unnecessary it was to learn Latin for 6 years shrug. At least I can make use now of the English I learned at school biggrin . That was a good basis to improve my skills since.

I speak English and Spanish on a daily basis. English was my second language, my mother only spoke Spanish and that's what I learned first, I didn't learn English until I started school.

Dutch and English on a daily basis.

I also understand Afrikaans and getting better and better at speaking it.

I understand German and French but my vocabulary is limited since I hardly ever have to speak German or French.

All bullshit aside, just English.

I know a handful of words in Japanese, Korean...

If I ever did take up a language honestly it'd be something like those or Cantonese or Mandarin; I have next to no interest in pretty much any language outside of the ones I just rattled off...
