Well die laughing because I knew at 4. I did not know the word or synonyms for homosexual, sexual orientation etc. My attraction wasn't a sexual one. I LIKED MEN. Period. I couldn't wait to grow to be one and be with one. When I say with, as a child, just to hang out.

When I started thinking about sex at about fifth grade (10), I was content to read about it. The idea of doing it was scary.

By the time I was 14 I started having sex, but maybe three times in a year. lol

Of course, my sex life didn't get started until I left home by joining the Army. I wanted to be where the men were.

This is why I don't believe you knew you were gay at 4. You just said your attraction wasn't a sexual one. Isn't sexual attraction what separates gays from straights? You say you wanted to hang out with men and grow up to be one. How is that in any way, shape or form...being gay? There are boys who can't wait to grow up to be like their fathers or uncles or favorite superheros. Does that make them gay? Of course not. It's no more gay than a girl who wants to grow up and be Miss America or Wonder Woman or be like her mother whom she adores. Honestly, I think in your adult mind you have fabricated to a certain degree what and who you were as a child. We all do it. The human brain evolves greatly from infancy to adulthood and we as humans literally change from one type of person to another. This is why adults get fascinated seeing pics and vids of themselves as children or hearing other people's memories and perceptions about them as babies and kids. Its like talking about a stranger only that stranger is YOU.

Now I believe you when you say you started thinking about sex by the fifth grade because by that time you would have had some exposure to the topic via conversation, music, pictures, movies, books or even catching your parents in the act. If you say you knew you were gay at 10 that makes more sense but this 2,3 and 4 nonsense is just ridiculous on so many levels. lol You don't even have straight people claiming they knew they were straight at age 4. Shit I'm straight and I'm your average female. At age 4 I played with dolls and my mom's shoes and liked cartoons and candy and jumbo gyms and thought adults were Gods. Another girl was just another girl. A boy was just a boy.

No, he said he couldn't wait to grow up to be with one. Edit: Oops, nevermind, I just saw his next sentence about hanging out with one. lol

Anyway, it is definately possible to think back and realize that you were gay at a very early age though because If I saw a man's dick in a magazine, I got a rock hard erection. I also wished I could reach out and touch and hold that motherfucker in my hand. I didn't know what to do with one yet but I knew that just the sight of it got my own dick hard as a rock just looking at one and that felt good.

Does this REALLY surprise anybody when you take into account how sexual everything is? It's all over the tv and the radio...

The other day I heard what sounded like grade school kids rapping "Hot in Here" by Nelly as they passed by my house...and they knew every single lyric.

So really instead of anybody bitching and whining about their parents...really, this is society's fault. The older generations as a collective, have let shit get to this point.

This particular guy in question that I had a crush on came after I'd already had sex with a guy.

I did want to be with him but I didn't know that I'd already engaged in sex. I was just acting out.

I wanted him bad, but didn't know what I'd do if I had him.

I had a crush on the man, and I have no idea now if it was sexual. I don't remember actively wanting to do anything other than hug him and be around him.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

our culture sexualizes children and markets everything using sex. it's inevitable kids will mimic what they see... however, and i'm not an expert, but i would think that sophisticated sexual behavior like anal sex would be a learned behavior. someone was taught/molested how to do that sad

[Edited 5/10/12 16:36pm]

I agree.

Not necessarily in that anal sex has to be learned, but there's just a certain point in what I think people would consider the standard "childhood experimentation" (I guess the you show me yours I show you mine type of thing) where you cross a very clear line into knowing exactly what you're doing, it actually involves technique (knowing how to put what where), that says this is a learned behavior----whether accidentally (walking in on someone doing it, finding a hidden stock of adult porn), or just plain intentionally (molestation , repeating what you learned through the abuse, etc).

By age 12, you're right at the threshold of adolescence and your hormones are starting to kick in. I imagine most kids by that age will have some kind of idea on the basic idea of what sex is, but likely not to the point that you know exactly where to put what during the sexual act itself...and then to have the sense of mind to film it? No way, I think there had to be an outside influence egging them on to do this because this is just waaay left. Not to mention, the incident doesn't even take place in a large metropolitan area-where I would think the chances of falling into something like this has a greater chance of happening. This is happening in a small, seemingly quaint coastal town...I really think these kids were set up to do this by someone else.

...and in a classroom of all places? And is this like many schools in Mexico where the kids wear uniforms? It just screams fetish sex video market to me, and I believe there is an adult behind this. The adult may have absolutely nothing to do with the school whatsoever, but I really believe there is a ringleader behind this craziness.

I don't need your endorsement of my experiences to make them real.

Are you saying you initiated sex with a grown man before you started kindergarten? Hell no I wouldn't believe that and wouldn't endorse it either. In fact, I'd feel quite sorry for you if that were true.

lol

I think the issue here is twofold.

One, the location of the act that took place. Anyplace at school - they should know better.

Second, the need people have to document and/or share so much these days that used to be considered private and personal.

I don't actually give one fuck about the act itself - that's their business. But doing it at school, filming it and sharing it removes that privacy, and therefore that freedom, from the equation. They forced other people to become involved, express opinions and make decisions. That would never have happened if they had just kept it to themselves.

Lastly, I totally thought I posted this before, but evidently I didn't. confused
