Where the Wild Things Are, author dies

Reuters) - American writer and illustrator Maurice Sendak, whose children's book "Where the Wild Things Are" has been a standard bedtime story for at least three generations, has died at the age of 83.

I was listening to 2 of a 3 interview series just moments ago, he was a rather charming man. I'm upset I wasn't able to listen to the third interview.

I'm so glad he lived to see his work brought to life via film. WWTA movie is fantastic!

I wouldn't put it that way. It seemed like a mutual effort. Colbert obviously admires the guy but his tv personality requires him to pretend to be some kind of adversary...its all just damn funny. Him and Diane keaton were pretty funny too. She grabbed his hand and put it on her titty and then hollard sexual harrasment. I was ROLLING!
