I'm just trying to boil some rice, and now it's completely burnt to a crisp and black on the bottom because I was busy here reading all these posts!!!

Ahhh, the beauty of a rice cooker. I never cooked before, but my rice always comes out good, because of the rice cooker.

That is one thing I cannot do for some reason; cooking anything else is a doddle but rice I tend to use boil in the bag rice...

Rice cooker

What's up with everybody and their rice cookers!!?? It never even crossed my mind to get one, and everyone talkign abotu how they have one, blah, blah, blah...

I should get one though, because I do eat a lot of rice. We already have so much kitchen crap and gadgets though, that I don't even think there's room for one.

There are less expensive ones, but I would avoid cheap rice cookers, they don't last very long.

I have a 3-cup rice cooker by Panasonic, they make great rice cookers.

I have this steamer. You can steam vegies or rice..Very small, and very useful... That is when I cook.

National makes GREAT rice cookers... I also love the rice cookers with the little elephant as their logo. I forgot the name.

I own a small Aroma rice cooker that I got for free from Grad Night when I graduated from high school. It's so useful. I don't even know how to cook rice in a pot.
