I've always thought it's cheesy as hell...

and SEXLESS, it's not that you're going to bagn your date after the party or something

well, in the 00s," maybe"(probably)...fem/male teens are sluts these days...

You don't think folks were sluts back in the '90s Joe? lol

NO, lol

90s teens were still educated (mostly) according to the "puritanism/Penthouse magazine in the bathroom" of the Reagan years...

00's-10's teens are watching porn as soon as they are 11 years old (unless the parents use the internet lock), and they lose their virginity around 15-17 years old...

Brother... no there were folks who defied rules back then in the '80s and '90s. I ain't buying that bullshit. lol It's just not as publicized as folks doing it now.

There were pregnant girls in my high school in the 70s. Hell, one of my friends had an abortion our junior year. This ain't new.

And it had nothing to do with Reagan - so I don't know why anyone would drag him into it. rolleyes

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

It's more common to go to prom alone/with a group of friends than with a date, at least it was at my prom (2006)

that way you won't have to be stuck to one person the whole night and can do whatever you want

Yeah I basically hung out with my cousin when I went to the prom. We didn't have dates, we just chilled. We didn't stay there too long. We left like three hours after we got there and went elsewhere. lol Not to no club but we rode around the city and shit.

Honey, I was a child in the 1970s and was sneaking and finding weak Playboy and Penthouse magazines in my uncle's room when I was as young as five years old and on the rare occassion that a dick was in the magazine, I'd get a raging erection. I also used to find a stash of harder stuff like Hustler in a ditch where some man must have hidden them from his wife and also in a dumpster in the back of a convenience store. Honey, I was in that dumpster so much you would have thought I was homeless. lol

I also slept with a girl in 1982 when I was 14. Hey, that's just what you were "supposed to do" at the time and if everyone else my age wasn't doing it, I wouldn't have either because it sure as hell wasn't what I wanted. The 1970s and 1980s brought up some straight up whores! I didn't get as nasty as I am growing up in a Leave It To Beaver era. lol

I went to many a school dance but never had no desire to go to a prom because everything involved with it seemed so fake. It was unheard of back then to go dateless and I definately had no desire to go with some girl as a date. barf People running around trying to find some date they weren't even interested in just to be "seen at the prom" just seemed rediculous to me.

Also it seemed like not only an expensive, but also a stuffy affair. Tuxedos and gowns are not only expensive but also stuffy looking. I just can't see getting down and dirty in such stuffy looking clothes. And taking pictures? I mean, is it a party or a wedding? When I party, I'm not into snapping fingers and moving from side to side in one place. I don't do "cotillions", I like to get all the way off and do some major ass shakin'. Hell, I and a few other folks have been thrown out of a school dance before for being all nasty like we were in an orgy with me in the middle of sandwich inbetween the two. A prom just seemed like a too stuffy and "cute" affair for a wild ass whore like me. lol

All I missed out on was a bunch of guys in pastel tuxedos. disbelief

At least they weren't powder blue. barf lol

Oh, I wish I had known you in HS!!

The year I went alone I wore a more flexible dress and took other girls dates. I was being so nasty

my updo came down and my makeup pretty much melted off. My heel busted and I ended

up barefoot by the end of the dance.

I was lucky that I knew a lot of the teachers who were in charge of keeping the peace.

They just shook their heads at me and turned away lol

The year that I went with a date, we ended up leaving early because we got in trouble when

I was dancing with my gay friend and he jerked my dress up because I couldn't spread my

legs right when we were getting down.

In HS us "poor kids" were always getting our asses kicked out of dances. We wern't into the

side to side shuffle, more into the hard grind, sweat etc.

Oh, we used to have a ball at those school dances! If we didn't have clothes between us covering our private parts from touching, we would have actually been fucking because the privates were definately touching through the clothes. lol I used to really trip folks out. Two girls would make a sandwich out of me and the one in front would bend over and shake her ass and I'd get behind her like I was fucking her in the ass. Then, I'd turn around and bend over in front of the girl. lol

Pregnant girls in my junior high school as well, in the 70's. Reagan had a powerful Reaganomic influence on society in the 80's, I guess shrug lol

It depends on who you ask, just like the Bush years lol, but Reagan got more praise than criticism. Neither one of them influenced me no shape or form. Looking forward to my daughter's prom day cool

Sure, the Iran-contra scandal being the most critical, but when he left, they were singing his praises. Bush, not at all. 911 and the war in Afghanistan will haunt him and his administration for life.

Anyways, nothing changed. yeah people are probably more open but that's because we got the internet but shit was graphic then too. lol

I don't know why people think shit was innocent. But I guess if you're young and saw life through rose colored glasses, you probably think that. I didn't. lol

This is why I said it depends on who you ask. Personally, I liked Clinton, despite his faults wink
