Just an ugly first half performance by the Knicks. Too many turnovers, bad fouls and some shitty calls. Guess I can do my errands now - this game is over.

- James should be nominated for an Oscar for his "performance" on a couple of those fouls. Actually, that "foul" called with him falling outta bounds was a joke. -

Lebron is a whole joke. lol

I agree about that one 100%, but he got stung by the one in the back. You could tell during his interview after the 2nd quarter. However, it STILL wasn't a flagrant - just a good hard playoff foul. But he didn't make that call, the refs did.

Damn what point is there in watching? lol

Up 34 going into the fourth - I guess I want to watch and see if they get it to 40. lol Nah, really, there just isn't anything else to watch at the moment. I suspect the Heat will play their bench in the fourth and the score will end up more respectible.

It's gone from bad to worse with Shumpert going down. Knicks will be lucky to win a game. Miami's star players are just better than NY's.

It didn't look good. But honestly, it was to be expected. He never really had time to heal from one injury before another one got him this season. He's been healthy previously, though, so hopefully he'll come back strong next season.

It's official. Derrick Rose tore his ACL and is out for the remainder of the postseason and likely out of the Olympics.

Now it appears Miami is the prohibitive favorite to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals.

That's too bad. They were definitely the team I wanted to make it out of the East. They played well without him this season, but I just don't see them winning four out of seven three times without him when teams have a chance to prepare and gameplan for them.

Maaan, our Olympic team is getting jacked up. I definitely think they should bring in Anthony Davis.

Boston or Indiana could make Miami sweat, but the Heat will eventually wear them down.

I just want him to win the championship just to shut folk up.

Some folk really took the whole thing too far last season.

I still don't expect the Sixers to take advantage of the Derrick Rose

injury. They are just too up and down and they have this tendency

to go ice cold shooting in the 4th qtr.

Tough luck for the Bulls.

I'll tune in when it's the finals, and the Spurs are playing the Heat.

Shumpert tore his ACL. Fuck, fuck, fuck.....

Magic surprised me winning game 1 in Indy. OKC beat Dallas in a thriller.

Who? Lebron, or Rose? I definitely wanted the Bulls to go all the way in the East and now I don't really have a favorite. I'm not really a fan of the Heat, but I don't hate them either. I think they should be much better on a more consistent basis than they have been with the talent they have. I still think they could slip this year... but not if they play like they did today. lol

Side note: It's really looking like Steve Nash might end up their next season. Look out for that.

Steve going to Miami? Hmm. I would think he'd be one of those "one team a lifetime" folks like Reggie Miller and 'em... but I could tell he wants a championship badly. I rooted for the Suns primarily because Steve was a natural born leader. I fear if he joins Miami he might get lost in the sea of the "stars". neutral

If the Heat to don't win it all, they are going to break up that three-some. The most likely candidate would be Chris Bosh. Nash, would fit in nicely. Of course, me being from NY, I would LOVE to see him come to the Knicks, but that's not going to happen.

Well lets not forget that Steve played six seasons in Dallas, too. He was 100% honest in all his late season interviews; he'll consider coming back to Phoenix, but he's going to "test the waters" and "see what else is out there". Playing with Wade, Lebron and Bosh, or even Wade and Lebron, would definitely be his best option.

I don't really understand why some people are saying they're going to split up their "big three", though. It doesn't make good basketball sense. Why wouldn't you keep as many good players as possible? What better option could they have than Chris Bosh? He was a major part of many of their wins this season.

Western Conference Playoffs, 1st Round

Game 1

Utah Jazz 91 San Antonio Spurs 106

No real surprises here, as San Antonio pretty much had the game in hand all throughout. However, SA coach Greg Popovich, most likely being mindful of Derrick Rose's injury yesterday, pulled his big three starters (Tim Duncan, Manu Ginnobili, Tony Parker) with a little over two minutes to go in the game.

That's partially why they lost last season because some of them got injuries.

Eastern Conference Playoffs, 1st Round

Game 1

Boston Celtics 74 Atlanta Hawks 83

The Hawks jump out to a 19 point lead on the Celtics and hang on to win late. However, Rajon Rondo made physical contact with a ref late in the game and was ejected from the game. Did he react on purpose or did he accidentally bump him? hmmm If it was on purpose, he will be automatically suspended for the next game.
