I adored him in The Godfather III and HEAT. Damn good movies. Even in Devil's Advocate, he was pretty hot despite the heeled boots.

He had this long drawn out custody battle with his baby momma, that actress Beverly D'Angelo. I think that aged him significantly cuz one year he was sexy and the next he was just old.

Ironically enough, the other day my brother suddenly had the desire to watch "Scarface" constantly...I think he had no clue that Pacino's birthday was coming up soon either.

Wow! 72!!! I keep forgetting that some of my favorite pop culture icons really are aging.

Al Pacino is hands down one of the greatest actors in the craft, and I dare say, he is still attractive even though he's getting up there. I saw an interview where he was doing panel press over here for some film or other, some years ago (more than 5, less than 10?), and I was completely struck by how how suave and magnetic his personality was. His hair was longish, salt& pepper colored and he had a very well manicured after 5 shadow/beard happening. He was dressed in all black with that typical "actor's" black cashmere turtleneck thing and a scarf...he looked very New York intellectual theatre legend. Even in the interview he such a command of the camera...

He definitely has a commanding presence...on and off the screen.

Yeah he sure has aged well. For me, I think he looks his most fiercest and sexiest during The Godfather days. He was sexy in Scarface too. Even in Godfather III.

Fell in love with his look again when he was in Carlito's Way. That beard...lawd. And he was what, like age 53 then?

Man I forgot about Carlito's Way! He looked so fucking cool throughout that whole movie! Yeah I think he was around 53 when that was out.

Ditto to everything everybody said except KingBAD. I've got way more years than that to go.
