But then again....this is a tv movie. How good can it be?

Janet Jackson looks more like Elizabeth Taylor here than LiLo does....

There was a tv movie in which sherilyn finn played Liz and she rather looked like her and certainly had the bossom.

The pics just further convinced me that she's not right for this.

She looks like a little kid doing a bad imitation of Liz Taylor.

There needs to be someone older with more 'va va voom!' and charisma playing that part I think. Lohan looks too young and too vulnerable.

I'm trying to think of someone from the new crop that could play Taylor and do a good job of it but no one is coming to mind other than Scarlet Johannson (sp?) with her hair dyed black or something.

i agree - although i think they should get her to play Liz until the age of about 35 - then someone else that is older

Standing next to a less sizzling, less mysteriously voluptuous but very pretty Liz, yeah, Lohan looks a lot like her she's a very pretty girl. There's a essence to icon Liz that I'm just not getting from Lindsey in these pictures. Her acting chops are going to have to be exceptional to reflect such an persona. And she knows she's got some weave up in there.

Lindsay Lohan appears to be a natural to play Elizabeth Taylor if the first official image from her upcoming Lifetime TV movie is any indication.

The female skewing cable network on Monday released the image of Lohan as Taylor and True Blood's Grant Bowler as Richard Burton from the upcoming telepic Liz & Dick.

Production on the effort, which will chronicle Taylor and Burton's romance -- often dubed the "marriage of the century" for its ups and downs and coverage in the tabloids -- started Monday in Los Angeles.

Check out the image, via Lifetime's Richard McLaren, below, and hit the comments with your thoughts on her transformation. Liz & Dick debuts later this year on Lifetime.

My goodness, they look a lot alike in some shots.

A lot of doubters here I see. Lindsay is a genuine talent and I'm willing to bet she'll shut up a lot of her haters once they see it. People always interwine personal life with career ability and I don't know why...well let me take that back, I do know why but anyway...

Too bad this is an only for Lifetime and not a theatrical release. I'm excited to see what other opportunities she'll get cause if she stays on the straight and narrow she's in for an incredible comeback in Hollywood.

Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Bad Car Accident

Lindsay Lohan is currently in the emergency room at an LA hospital after a terrible car accident.

Lindsay Lohan was in a bad car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway today when her car collided with an 18-wheeler, reports TMZ.

Lindsay was driving her black Porsche on the PCH when she crashed into an 18-wheeler, and her car was “totaled”.

An ambulance was called to the scene, but she was reportedly taken to the hospital by other means. Initial reports are saying she “seems ok” and doctors are performing tests.

We hope Lindsay is okay, and will update with more information.

Lindsay Lohan was in a bad car accident and is in the emergency room at an L.A. hospital ... TMZ has learned.

Lindsay Lohan was driving her black Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica when it slammed into the back of an 18 wheeler around noon. The Porsche is totaled. The passenger window was shattered and the bumper was fully off her car.

We're told she did not go to the hospital by ambulance, although we are told an ambulance was called to the scene.

No word on her condition, although we're told she seems ok. Doctors are performing tests.



1:28 PM PT -- Eyewitnesses tell us both Lindsay and her assistant (the passenger) were bleeding and bruised, and the assistant is in an ambulance en route to the hospital.

1:20 PM PT -- Lindsay was driving the car, and we're told she's saying that the accident wasn't her fault, claiming the 18 wheeler cut her off.

Lindsay Lohan channeled the 1980s incarnation of Elizabeth Taylor for Lifetime's biopic Liz & Dick Wednesday, and RadarOnline.com has the new photo for you.

The Mean Girls star plays the Hollywood icon in the made-for-TV film, which is scheduled to be broadcast in October. It chronicles the rocky relationship between Taylor and her one-time husband Richard Burton. This shot is presumably taken from a point depicting the timeframe around Burton's 1984 death.

"She looks so much like her," film stylistBeatrice De Alba told People of LiLo. "There was a moment when she was [looking] at her picture on the monitor and said, 'I'm her.'

"It was thrilling."

As we previously reported, Lindsay is looking at the role as a shot to reestablish herself in Hollywood again following years of on-and-off work due to her legal entanglements and personal issues.

"I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role," Lindsay said in a statement

I know its only a TV movie and all but lohan 2 me doesn't look at all like Elizabeth Taylor. If someone were to play her based on her actual looks I think megan fox should.

I will probably forget all about this and never watch it.
