PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE THREAD

Lately, I've read a lot of interesting comments about passive-aggressive Orgers and I got to thinking...

Since we cannot flame and be truly aggressive toward each other, aen't we actually encouraged to be passive-aggressive? Perhaps you've never thought of it this way, but the way we choose not to reply to certain posts because it could be considered flaming... has a certain passive-aggressiveness to it. The other goes "How come he didn't say anything to that?" You gotta admit this whole "If you don't have anything good to say, say nothing" is the very root of passive-aggressivity. nod

IN OTHER WORDS...

IF YOU DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD,
YOU MAY BE PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE TOWARD ME.

There is a LOT of passive agressive "non posts" here and it is obvious as well as sad.

No no no..it's not that and you've never been one to use passive agresive techniques. You are up front about things if you have something to say etc.

Isn't being passive aggressive between two people that are already in relation with each other? What if I am not used to relating with another person, then if I chose not to respond, am I being p/a?

I've certainly experienced this with people that I relate with in non-internet experiences! Most frustrating, to say the least!!
