no, but I should have. there have been a few over the years that I saw because of all the hype and then was terribly dissapointed after I saw it. The only one I can think of off the top of my head was the blair witch movie. OMG! I thought it was going to be sooooo scary...but it wasn't. "not a fan" yeah...ok

LotR was one of those that I didn't want to see, especially after hearing all the hype, but pt. 1 came on tv, when I didn't realize it came in parts, so I relunctantly watched it and got hooked, that was a rarity for me. Most movies I feel rather disappointed once I give in, which makes the next time even more grueling.

Oh a whole bunch...But not because everyone else has. I'm just simply not interested.
That Matrix stuff
The Godfather series
Mission Impossible
Um...Twilight
Lord Of The Rings...I've seen none of it.
None of the Harry Potters except the first one
Star Wars
Avatar
Pirates of the Carribean or whatever it was called
A lot of Will Smith....I Am Legend, Hancock, Wild Wild West, The Karate Kid with the son.

...to add to my list, any film Jennifer Hopez is in. When will Hollywood show her big ass the door? Talk about overrated.

All of the Harry Potter films (and books).
It wasn't a conscious decision, they just never interested me, but the more time that passed and the more people that started berating me for not wanting to read children's books (and I generally dislike most Fantasy anyway), it became kind of a quest to avoid them.
I do however love children's movies and all that sentimental stuff that adults can also enjoy (e.g. Pixar films). [Edited 4/25/12 10:12am]

I'll go on record and say that genesia should see Godfather 1 and 2 (stay away from 3). THose are classic movies with great acting. You should like them, if not love them. Did you ever see Goodfellas? Because if you like Goodfellas-you may like The Godfather. (Godfather is a better film though).
IMAGO-As for TLOTR The Return of the king having "several endings." That's just because that's how the book is written.
I have not and will not see any twilight movies.
I agree that James Cameron has lost the ability to focus on a coherent believable story line. Just see the crap Titanic or Avatar. Do love his Terminator and Aliens movies though. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

If the only reason you haven't seen a film is truly because everyone else has then you are doing yourself a disservice. There are a lot of classics mentioned in this thread. Stop being stubborn/elitist and go watch those movies!
