It's BORING.

It doesn't get good until the ship starts sinking, then you're riveted.

Whoever said that it turned them off of Jim Cameron - the rest of his stuff isn't that dull - well the stuff I've seen. I wouldn't go near "Avatar", but the first Terminator movie is my favorite. movie. of. all-time.

The English Patient. I wasn't like Elaine and didn't like it, I just never saw it. With as hyped as it was there was no way I'd ever enjoy it as it couldn't possibly live up to the expectations.

I also didn't see Forrest Gump for years. I finally watched it one afternoon on cable when I had nothing better to do. It was a decent movie, but another that didn't live up to the hype.

Still one of my faves but I do like T2 extended better.

Yeah, co-sign on Titanic. That's probably why I don't own it. I would just jump to the hitting the iceberg and watch from there.

I am truly shocked.

You love classic movies!

You have to see the first two. Two of the best movies ever made.

Even now, still great movies. Tempted to watch at least one now.

Stay away from 'The English Patient.' I watched it after it won the Oscar and was bored beyond belief. I think I started doing chores while it was on.

I've never seen "Flashdance". I wouldn't say the reason I haven't seen it is because everyone else has though. From the clips and commercials I've seen, it just looks dull.

It's not dull, it is really a chick flick.

Watching it now, glad I don't own it. Still like the dance performances. That's what made the movie.

I've seen clips of some of the dance scenes and that's why it looks dull to me. I don't like choreographed Broadway looking dancing. I like just good old unchoreographed ass shakin' like they used to do coming down the Soul Train line in the 1970s and early 1980s. lol

Have you seen 'Save the Last Dance"? or the 'Step Up' series of movies?

More street dancing a la 'Krush Groove' but still choreographed beyond belief.

No, I've never even heard of those movies. As for dancing, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video really ruined things after it came out. It was a great video but people will take an idea and wear it out to no end.

lol Thanks. hug I've been sick like a mofo for good long time, still not fixed. Only hanging around this weekend because it decided to be 30 degrees hotter than Thursday (you know I hate the damn heat) and I have absolutely NOTHING to do. I don't even have a book available. I'm going over to Barnes & Noble after it cools off to pick up something to read.

Sorry to hear you've been sick. Nice to see you - even if it's out of boredom. lol hug

that's how I ended up back in here yesterday.. lol

I liked that movie, but I think I was in the right mood for it. I saw it a couple times, in fact.

I wonder if I would still like it, though. hmmm

Godfathers II and III

Good Fellas

All Harry Potter movies

All Lord of the Ring movies

All Twilight movies

Come to think of it, pretty much every movie that's won any kind of Academy Award since about 1993.

But I HAVE seen "Alien Opponent" and that one movie is better than all the movies above - COMBINED.

2. Scarface

3. Any of the Mutant supehero movies (I don't even remember their names lol )

4. 7

5. Any of the Twighlight movies

6. Showgirls

7. any of the SAW movies

8. Precious

9. Citizen Kane

10. Passion of the Christ

7. Hangover...I think I laughed at one scene...I don't get this 'Asians are funny' thing.

None of us think asians are funny, Dan

I have not seen any of that top ten either, except Godfather, Citizen Kane, and Scarface.

I also have not seen all of Forest Gump. I actually walked out of the theater on that one when the fillm broke and didn't feel like waiting for them to fix it. shrug

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Actually, here is a simple way of knowing what movies I have seen:

If Sextonseven has seen it, I haven't. If he hasn't seen it, I probably have.

That guy is so far above me in movie-appreciation level that it isn't even funny.
