Well, i am usually puking the whole day while lying in bed wishing I was dead... lol , but I try and take 2 excederin, a coke, 2 "real" sudafed and 2 benydryl...every 3.5-4 hours.. Top that off with as much water as I can drink inbetween vomiting sad

By the time it subsides im soooooo thirsty and dehydrated I crave extra sweet strawberry kool-aid and beef top ramen soup, with a side of saltines with honey..

GOD i hate migraines! But i find I control them by drinking alot of water, and working out everyday! I also get ocular migraines in my right eye from time to time.. neutral

I used to get one about every 3 months, now its pretty rare, last one was 2 years ago?? That wasnt alcohol induced anyway! boxed

~~~~~ Oh that voice...incredible....there should be a musical instrument called George Michael... ~~~~~
Hormones.
I've pretty much determined that my migraines are hormone-related because, when I balance my estrogen and progesterone effectively, I don't get headaches, at all.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
Red
back in the day - Fiorinal - which was a combination analgesic of aspirin, barb butalbital and caffeine. Little speedy, but certainly did the trick.
I've been taking Advil Migraine. It makes the side of my face numb but the headache's pretty much gone or dulled within 30 minutes. My migraines are mostly from sinus pressure but the over the counter drugs for sinuses no longer work for me.
I feel so bad for people that suffer from them on a regular basis. I don't even have mine once a month but it hurts so bad it actually makes me cry and I'm typically not a crier. And every time this happens I think 'how do people with children handle this because there's no way I could take care of someone else right now.'
Shake it til ya make it dancing jig
