No it is not . Vienna has loads of issues, but dogshit is not on that list.
Even whenever it was voted "best city of the world", the only "downside" was always dog shit, according to the jury.
How could you say this isn't the truth? Have you been to a lot of other European cities? You can roll around in Hyde Park, you can lay in the grass in front of the Prado museum, you can chill besides the Brandenburgertor, but God beware you'd want to lay down in the grass in front of the Nationalbank in Vienna. (Paris is quite dirty too, that way)
Yes I have been to many cities all over Europe. And I never had a problem in any park in Vienna with finding a nice place in the grass. IMO you are obsessed with dog shit . With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! Nah brother, I don't see. Not even a little bit. The two are not the same thing, AT ALL. It's an animal, you are not. We could debate the issue of not cleaning up dog shit based on location, responsibility, cleanliness (because nobody is cleaning up their piss), etc. There is no debating your logic regarding pissing on another human being for any reason. It's a ridiculous notion. And I assure you more people would respond like me than would suddenly just snap to and go happily pick up their dog shit. |

Every threat is "wrong", so this part of the debate is unnecessary.
Yes, the dog is an animal, but the dog owner is not and should therefore act like a human being and not like an animal. |

If it weren't for cars, your "city" would not even have the possibility of being a city, so your logic is a bit flawed.
A car is dirty too, yes, but it contributes to society, economy and comfort much more than a pile of dog shit on the sidewalk does. |

And the pollution of cars as well as the smoke from cigarettes kill people.
Cities existed long before cars were even built. Especially in a city private cars are not necassary. It's a shame that children who live in cities have so little contact to animals and have no space left to play anywhere. But you are only concerned that they might have to deal with dogshit . That was in a time when the streets were polluted with other things and diseases (often spread because of fecal matter, for example) were all around.
People live in cities, because they prefer cities to having contact with animals. If you want to live in dog shit, move to the country side! It's as simple as that. |

They were not talking about the need to improve anything, but just about keeping the morale up.
Oops, something went wrong with my editing
I had typed that I don't consider Vienna a clean city because of the pollution caused by traffic.
