Well, usually other staff who needs things periodically in our department (i'm in finance) pop in our office when they need something, so using headphones really isn't a good thing because folks would have to keep tapping you on your shoulder to get your attention or you would have to be extremely aware to see if anyone has popped in. In this case, ear plugs wouldn't be suitable either, but I can't exactly tie up those broads in my office and tape their mouths up with box tape either, now can I? Treated myself to a nice piece of halibut from the fishmongers today. Then took a trip to the pet shop & was really freaked out by the parrot having a huge yawn to itself. I've never seen a bird yawn before! Ya learn something new every day!  Halibut is just about cooked now, yum yum. | |

Today is my last day in "this is the house that Jack built" with the messed up neighbors. My landlady is a doll, but she lives no where near us.

Well the apartment needed repairs so I agreed to move into another one that is closer to my friend. The only sad part is that my window looked out onto an old cemetary and I just loved that. I am now just a block away though. The complex that I live in seems quieter than the one closer to the cemetary and more off the road.
