Out here where I live, that ALWAYS happens.

It's to the point that certain movies that they suspect are going to be popular with the local black population, they actually won't SHOW in the suburban movie theaters.

When "Freddy vs Jason" came out we went to the theater in a local mall to try and see it and they told us they weren't going to have it; a few other places weren't showing it either. We had to drive over to the 'hood' or the 'ghetto movie theater' in order to even watch it.

Remember when "Colors" came out back in the day? I went to the theater three times before I finally got to see it (wasnt worth it...so fucking HOLLYWOOD).

1) Gang riot in parking lot

2) Gang riot at theater snack bar

3) Finally saw it, but there was a fight afterwards leaving the theater.

And this was three separate theaters!
