Prayers Please Today my grandson who is 20 y.o. leaves for Afganistan for 6 months. He will be stationed near the village where the soldier killed all those people. He will on communications and clean-up patrol. Prince's Sarah | |

My son was stationed there last year as Fire, Crash and rescue. They were always in a combat zone

Thank You So Much. I will need someone as its hard on my daughter and I'm trying to be positive. We went to see Red Tails and when it came to the final death scene; I lost it and bawled all the way home, but I couldn't share w/them why it hit me so hard because it felt too close to heart & home. Oh my gosh I understand!
I couldnt watch the military channel.. NO movies involving soldiers... Not even NCIS without bawling! I couldnt see a Marine with out tearing up and I had a VERY hard time talking about him... I bawled at work one day because a Marine came in who was getting ready to ship to Afghanistan and all I wanted to do was hug and kiss him and I didnt even know him!!
It made me feel better to send packages and donate things for all the soldiers.. They LOVE getting packages! My son told me when someone got a box they all sat around and shared everything from the box, so send lots! they appreciate it and get excited for every package... I wish I knew just how much he did love getting boxes because I would of sent one every week! We didnt get to hear from him very often because of his job
