Nature is mysterious is so many ways. We once thought that stick worms were vegan, until Nova filmed one eating a helpless insect.

We once thought chimpanzees were vegans too, until Jane Goodall revealed to the world that they actually will eat other monkeys, including chimps in other clans.

All over this earth, animals we once thought were herbivores are actually omnivores, and I suspect carnivores on the downlow.

And yet, we invite these animals into our homes. Ferrets chewing off baby's toes...Pitbulls mauling faces.

There is no place safe anymore. I ask you this to all of you pet owners of supposed herbivoric pets. Have you ever sat down and stared long and hard at your rabbit? Do you really think he's that into carrots?

A few months ago I watched one of those alien/UFO videos that Graycap sometimes posts, and after a few more clicks on the links right next to the video I ended up watching some really, really bizarre stuff. There are some crazy videos on YT.

I had a rabbit that stole fried chicken off my plate... she was WELL fed and I thought she liked the breadding on the chicken... nope she liked the meat.

I had to actually fight her to get the bone from her.

I thought my rabbit had gone loopy, so this cow eats a chicken thing isn't so far fetched to me.

Everything tastes like chicken after all....

The cow concerned is named Lal and lived(or lives) in Chanpaur, India.

This was widely reported in the media and the several teams were trying

to determine the mental state of the cow to see what possessed it

to eat baby chickens.

This is because this wasn't a one-off incident. The cow has a habbit

of eating chickens.

Other (nominal) herbivores such as deer have also been observed eating birds occasionally. Obviously not on the cow or deer's regular diet but possibly to correct a nutritional deficiency.
