Maybe it's just me but I see this kind of talk more often from so-so looking ladies like the one in this topic than I ever have from truly gorgeous women...maybe people just wish she would get over herself.

I think what she fails to understand is that women in general get a lot of attention from men at some time or another, and that men find so many different types attractive or pretty. I do believe she gets attention from men, but that kind of attention doesn't really make her any more special or unique or more beautiful than others.

She's tall, she's thin and she's blonde and that really can be enough for some men to respond in the ways she claims they respond to her. I think she's confusing men giving her attention for something as basic as the traits I described above with it meaning she must be much prettier than other women.

Thank you. She's average at best, but she is not pretty. That's not to say that pretty women don't get attention from men, because they do, but it's all about attitude.

Definitly agree with this. I didnt read the whole thing but from what I did read it seems that she feels important or above people because she gets attention from men which isnt something technically special" because everybody at some point has gotten attention. I dunno it seems she rather get attention for her looks than for the kind of person she is because she feels in her mind PEOPLE THINK like that. Well SOME do but not everyone. She sounds rather full of herself and I didnt think she was THAT pretty.

I know what she's talking about. I haven't experienced it personally but I've witnessed and been a part of "hatin'" in the past, mostly because of insecurities.

But it doesn't end with looks. I've seen girls be hated on because they're really smart. Or they're really quick witted. Or really creative. Jealousy comes in many forms.

I commend her for having enough self-confidence to believe she's all that, but I don't particularly find her all that stunning; in fact, she's just another average blonde to me. I had a Latina girlfriend who was far prettier than her, and while I may have been biased about her outward appearance and thought she was rather hot (which she was) , even she wasn't the most attractive woman I've ebver encountered.

But this lady does have a point about women being petty and a bunch of haters towards others who they perceive to be more attractive. Then again, I've known women to be rather petty over other women for what I thought was rather meaningless stuff.

All I know is...If I was in a airport full of women, she would not be the first person I'll send a bottle of champagne to.

Geez...maybe when society doesn't place the end-all and be-all on how a woman 'looks' instead of what she 'thinks' we can all get past this bullshit.
