Also, appearances by Clearance Williams III, Eve Plumb and David Alan Grier. A young Chris ROck stole the show with his rib line but another underrated comic making his film debut was Robin Harris is his funny little role.

From Busta to the St. Lunatics... "Coming to America" was like the film for the hip-hop generation. Hell most of Eddie's films were during that period (1982-89).

In the club I could swear the song that's being played is a Chico DeBarge jam.

John Landis was doing his thang in the 80's (minus twilight zone the movie controversy).

Coming to is one my pers fav comedy movies, it captures plenty of memories for me, plus the setting and characters were delivered brilliantly!
