Will Smith, host of The 2012 Kids' Choice Awards
Will Smith, actor, director, musician, and famous father of singer Willow Smith, actor and director Jaden Smith, and DJ Trey Smith hosts Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2012, tomorrow night, Saturday, March 31. Smith, whose movie MIB3, the third movie in the Men In Black series due in theaters May 25, 2012, is also husband to Baltimore native, actress, singer and activist, Jada Pinkett-Smith.
Smith has a lot riding on the line as many of his daughter's fans will be in the audience. Willow, who is currently enjoying success with Fireball, her hit duet with Nicki Minaj, is a peer mentor to the targeted age group of the Nickelodeon network. (See Fireball, left)
This is also an important assignment for Smith as he will be starring in what is sure to be a blockbuster going into the summer movie season. MIB3, also starring Tommy Lee Jones, has the opportunity to gain legions of faithful followers who were probably not even born when the original debuted in 1997.
Get ready to watch some of your favorite celebrities get slimed. Saturday's Kids' Choice Awards is shaping up to be star-studded affair.
Will Smith will host the 25th annual event, which will feature performances by British "it" boy band One Direction and Katy Perry.
Also expected to appear at the show are Nicki Minaj, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Rock, Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Zac Efron, Heidi Klum, Victoria Justice, Miranda Cosgrove, Big Time Rush, Chris Colfer and Cee Lo Green.
According to E! News, Taylor Lautner, Josh Hutcherson, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez will also attend
First lady Michelle Obama will recognize Taylor Swift for her philanthropic efforts, presenting the country singer with the big help award. The first lady was the 2010 winner of the honor.
The annual event recognizes kids' favorites, spanning the worlds of film, music, TV and sports.
The "Harry Potter" franchise scored top nods with four nominations for favorite movie, favorite book, Daniel Radcliffe for favorite movie actor and Emma Watson for favorite movie actress.
"The Smurfs" has three nominations, including favorite movie, Sofia Vergara for favorite movie actress and Katy Perry for favorite voice in an animated movie. The "Kung Fu Panda" film is up for favorite movie, favorite cartoon and Jack Black for favorite voice in an animated movie.
This year's dual nods include "The Muppets" for favorite movie and Amy Adams for favorite movie actress. The "Twilight" franchise is in the running for favorite book, and "Twilight" star Kristen Stewart is up for favorite movie actress. She's also expected to attend the event.
LMFAO, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are among the nominees in the music categories.
The Kids' Choice Awards air live from Los Angeles on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon.
This year's Kids' Choice Awards are going to be as action-packed as ever, with Will Smith as host, two killer performers lined up and a slew of celebrities expected to be in attendance.

A Host With Big Willie Style Nickelodeon hit the jackpot of high-profile celeb hosts in landing Will Smith for their master of ceremonies this year. Although he's one of the biggest stars around, it's been awhile since we've seen the former Fresh Prince. We've seen a lot of his son Jaden and daughter Willow, who are becoming big stars in their own right, but we are psyched to see what Smith has planned as host. Will he be joined onstage by his kids? Will he incorporate a few of his famous friends into the act, like Tom Cruise? Will we get a sneak peek at new footage from the upcoming "Men in Black III"? We'll have to wait and see.

Will, Jada, green haired Willow and Jaden were all spotted at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia on Friday where they cheered on the 76ers. And they looked like they were having tons of fun. That's one way to prove to folks that all is good with your fam.
Though folks were saying Will and Jada were on the verge of divorcing, the pair looked pretty cozy as the 76ers (Will is a part owner) battled the Miami Heat.

Divorce who?
Will Smith and Jada were all about that PDA this past weekend as they hit up a 76ers game in Philly with the kids. Jada, who’s been rocking a long mohawk lately, made sure she let folks know that flame is still burning as she kissed Will in front of thousands on the huge jumbotron at the game. Their kids, Willow and Jaden as well as Will’s mother Caroline were also spotted.
Tomorrow, Jada will release the music video to the song she wrote for Will titled, ‘Burn’ on facebook.
