Eddie Murphy and Arnie in "Twins" sequel?

Comingsoon.net shared this interview they did with Arnold Schwarzenegger late last year, months before last week's announcement of a sequel to Twins, to be called Triplets, with Eddie Murphy as the 3rd bro (if this even happens, I suspect there'll be some bro, brutha, brother jokes in there somewhere).

In the interview, Ah-Nuld actually reveals his excitement for a Twins sequel, and shared his thoughts on how he'd approach it:

"I would love to do another 'Twins... As a matter of fact, we’ve been talking about doing one and it’s called 'Triplets.' I’d find somebody like Eddie Murphy or someone that people would say, 'How does that happen, medically speaking?' and, 'Physically, there’s no way!' Then, somehow, we would explain it. That would be hilarious with what we know about someone like him... I can see a poster... A billboard with us three. 'They found another one!' 'Triplets!' 'Only their mother can tell them apart!' I would do that in two seconds, because that’s real entertainment. You come out with that movie for Christmas, like December 5th or something like that, and you’re home free."

Ho-ho-ho-ho... hilarious idea isn't it? I mean... I can actually visualize his excited self saying all these things, and being serious about it too.

I already expressed my lack of interest in a Twins sequel, with or without Eddie Murphy. I think the words I used in my last post were, "WTF?"

I'm working on a piece that looks closely at Eddie Murphy's career in recent years - the questionable (IMHO, given the outcomes of many of them) career choices he made, and continues to make, with this Twins sequel, so look out for that.

So it's not confirmed, BUT, it could happen? Have kids and teens these days even heard of "twins"? LOL. I miss those cheesy feel good 80's comedies but this one sounds crazy.

Murphy has wasted his talents for a long time. Iam sure he would except the role, but I can't find this story to be true though.

Every time I think of the movie, I think of that camp as hell title song by Little Richard and Philip Bailey.

"TWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINS" lol

I have the OST (God bless charity shops), but even I, who love cheesy pop songs, find the title track horrible. But that "TWIIIIIIIIIIINS" hook on the chorus stays in my brain for days mad
