Synopsis:

The conclusion to the series, Breaking Dawn Part 2 , illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.

FIRST!

You know, back when they were still just the books, I liked the first one. I thought the writer did a great job of making a readable book and evoking what it feels like to be an average, angsty teenage girl.

I didn’t like the second book until about 2/3 of the way through.

I enjoyed the last two books well enough to read them and finish out the series, but didn’t think they were the best or anything.

When the first movie came out, I went and it was fairly enjoyable.

The second movie was fun in the way we were giggling at the absurdity of it all the way through – the mtv video-vibe, the cheesy shirtless shots, etc.

By the third movie I was defending my following the series by comparing it to Doritos. It’s junk food. You know it’s bad, but it’s still kinda good once in a while.

Now I’m just over it. I can’t get excited about this last one. And I’ve watched the movies over again and realize I want them to be good, because I want it to be a good story, but they’re really just cheesy and stupid and pretty damn lame. And I never liked Kristen Stewart as Bella and she really just gets worse and worse as it goes on.

Sigh.

I know I’ll see the last movie to finish it out. But meh.

This is the Part 2 teaser that was shown at Target stores.

I stopped reading the books where Breaking Dawn Part 1 ends, so November 16th should hurry up!

I've never seen any of the movies, nor read the books.

I had somebody explain the first book to me, and about 2 minutes into the breakdown,

I new it would be a 'must miss' event.

cambridge university offered(s) a course focused in part on the twilight series, and how damaging the mindset this series presents can be for young adults who internalize the message found there.
