European or Global-minded Orgers

Hi guys!

I'm doing some travelling right now and would love to hear from orgers who live or have visited some of the areas that I will be passing through.

Right now I'm in Andalucia, Spain for a couple more weeks.

In April I will spend the month in Lyon, France.

In May I will be in Florence.

In June I'm going to be at Sifnos with a little time in Athens.

Any advice for a solo traveller? Things to visit? Food to try? Anyone want to have coffee or drinks with a fellow orger? biggrin

I've already discovered that I packed way too much to get on the inexpensive flights. Something I should've found out about before I packed a gigantic suitcase! I've also discovered that while I still speak Spanish really poorly, the people here are really polite about it. And I love the Spanish tapas!

Also, I am trying to decide where to go in July. Any opinions?

Hi, Carrie. I'll be in Barcelona on the 23rd, but I'm leaving on the 24th. So I'll wish you well and suggest a nice paella for lunch if you haven't enjoyed it yet.

Getting everything into one carry-on sized suitcase is no easy task but I do it. Lol. Seriously, this is my suitcase for trips. 21 inches! On spinners is the best for moving cool. Do that.

Watch for geckos. Safe journey.

I have pictures, but they are mostly of old churches and not me in them. I need to get better about asking strangers to "sacar un foto" of me!

I know where to find you if I end up in new york. hug

(Well - I don't literally know where to find you, cuz that would be kind of creepy, but I know how to get in touch with you org-ways!)

ooooooOOOOooooo - that paella looks great! I haven't had any down here in Andalucia. I've seen a couple of places that serve it, but other dishes have seemed to look better so far. I've been really impressed with the seafood here!

And what's up with the geckos? Do they attack???? eek

Sorry I'll miss you in Barcelona and thanks for the tips, Hershe. Maybe we'll cross paths next time!

No geckos are not aggressive. They can get underfoot tho. One lived under the range in the kitchen and I nearly stepped on it a couple times. Lol.

Hey, you HAVE to reveal what kind of job it is you have that allows you to travel so much?
