That is an awesome room! I had an Aunt that would have gone completely apeshit over that room because she loved herself some zebra print and the color purple. Thanks for posting and making me think of her. I haven't done that in a very long time.
i was admiring that room too. cool zebra-giraffe, and i like how the outside looks so blue. where are the tropical-looking photos taken? very pretty all. flowing through the veins of the tree of life...purplemaplesyrup |

Awwww thank you, I am happy I made you think of her .
I love your pics too and also how you presented them !
I very much like that room because it is so very much me and individual and I and I like the "shock effect" it has one some people (both good and bad, depending on the person ) who see it for the first time . Just recently a guest of mine came into it and I was on the computer when he came in and I suddenly heard him say "Wow" and at first I had no idea what he meant until I realized he was overwhelmed with the room . Thank you ! People told me I woud get sick of it quickly and that the dark walls make it look to dark, but I love it more the longer I have it like that .
The tropical looking pics are from Trinidad/Tobago where my boyfriend lives. The contrast to my living room could not be much bigger as I was staying there in his little half finished house in the middle of the tropical rain forrest (the next house being nearly half an hour away by car) without water or electricity and with bats hanging down from the bedroom walls . It was very hard. My aunt was very depressive since she had a heart attack 4 years before she passed and my dad died 3 years after her. He was bedridden for these 3 years since her death and in constant pain and many times before I went into his room I listened from outside the door if I could still here him breathe so that I knew he was still alive . My mom (who co-raised me with my aunt, but I was always a lot closer to my aunt than to her) and my sister were not very supportive back then (I am a little closer to them now again ), but I was lucky I had friends and especially my boyfriend at that time who helped to to pull through all the pain.
I know that you meant him and of course it is Sananda . I just added that remark in the next post about the other guy to make sure nobody thinks I had any connection to that person .
