I guess one thing that comes to mind are Kirk Cameron's recent comments about how homosexuality is "destructive to so many of the foundations of civilization"

Which foundations are they destroying, exactly? Are homosexuals preventing straight people from having kids, getting married, providing food for their families, going to church, loving their neighbors, voting, paying taxes, getting jobs...?

On a related note, I saw a facebook post of a video of a preacher whose sermon was about how homosexuality was unnatural

Well, let's assume it is unnatural, for the sake of argument. Are computers and youtube and facebook and religion and preachers part of the natural world, now?

in fact, homosexualiuty is more natural than almost anything we use or do on a day to day basis.

a short list of unnatural things humans do would include:

wearing clothing, driving cars or any other form of mechanical or wheeled transportation, using a stoplight, checking the time, making coffee, wearing shoes....

the list goes on and on and on. unnatural is a word they have co-opted, but homosecuality is very much a natural thing.

it's natures way of thinnin the heard, so to speak. so yes it is a natural occurence

That's exactly my point, I was simply saying that even if it IS unnatural, so is just about everything we do these days, including heterosexual marriage.
