''Real World'' cast member Alton Williams may have a remarkable way with women, but he was apparently less than charming on Friday night at a North Carolina nightspot where he and several of his Las Vegas castmates were appearing at a charity fundraiser. The Smoking Gun website reports that Williams took a swing at a bar manager and was briefly held on charges of assault and resisting arrest. The 23-year-old was released from jail in Charlotte on $3,000 bond after three hours, and he must face two misdemeanor charges at a March 13 court date.

Alton and his castmates, including Irulan, Trishelle, Steven, and Brynn, attended the Make-A-Wish Foundation fundraiser at Bar Charlotte, where they served as celebrity bartenders, signed autographs, and posed for photos. Bar manager Jason Cain told The Smoking Gun that Williams was complaining about being shown off like a ''sideshow freak.'' According to the website, the police report says Williams got into an argument with customers, and when bouncers stepped in to remove him to an office to cool off, he started ''scratching, biting, and using abusive language.'' Cain says Alton took a swing at him (and missed), prompting him to call the police. At least his sometime paramour Irulan accompanied him during his handcuffed perp walk to the squad car.

he lives in l.a. it was a modest home i couldnt tell what area tho...he had pretty standard and messy...he has a booth table(like it ihop and dennys) in the kitchen his friend band in the front,his wife in bed for some reason... lol

Alton is SO friggin emotional - what did he THINK going to a benefit as "Alton of the Real World!!!" was gonna be like?? This makes me sad
