Proof of ancient UFO's? Pakal Votan's tombstone in Palenque

Picture 1 is a 3d model of the Aztec leader Pakal Votan's tombstone in Palenque.

What is your opinion of this?

Really? I'd suggest u watch the show.

It looks EXACTLY like the original picture.

This was the only angle I could find of the 3d model.

The model doesn't look like a fair 3D representation to me. They've stripped off lots of ornaments and faces and done a "machine" interpretation of anything that looks even remotely machine-like on the tombstone. You could just as well interpret the tombstone as a wooden altar with a cross in the background, or even plant life.

If u take that 3d model and sit it side by side with the original picture, they are almost identical.

They actually do this on the show. I can't find a picture of that angle. Very interesting stuff.

Are you kidding? I can see dozens of items right away that haven't been included. The bird-like thing at the top, the faces on each side of the cross, the flowery things that hang down from the arms of the cross etc etc. Also the cross itself looks way different and less detailed, plus every round shape has been made into square blocky metal-like things. The "altar" too isn't even close.

shrug

Take it 4 what u will.

Some of those items not included are detached from what ever it is that he is sitting on.

I could maybe see that if whoever designed the tombstone had no awareness of how machinery & buttons & switches & dials worked and only saw the thing as a bizarre contraption, then they might make it look frilly like this.

But it does not literally look like the machine, except for the basic lines

I guess I'm more open 2 seeing that it does.

Is it verbatim? No.

Does it have 2 be? No.

This guy does not sit on a machine, this is stupid! It's purely a stone he's sitting on, and he's looking to the world, not stargazing. It's a philosophical abstract, it is self explanatory. They had sensibility of time and sun way back then as far as I know, and that's all I see on that thombstone.

Cross?! The aztects weren't Christians, there are too many religous symbols on that thombstone, but definetly none of it belongs to Christianity. lol

I'm a believer.

He's the Mayan Astronaut. Palenque Astraonaut. Whatever you want to call him.

I actually have that tatooed on my arm. The tablet version not the 3D version.

But I think that even without the 3-D rendering, it is a really fascinating tombstone. If it is not a spaceship, what the hell is it? Why did they put him in that position?

It's very mysterious, and I can see why people suspect alien connections to this and Egyptian culture.

ACTUALLY...there are people who relate Quetzalcoatl to Jesus Christ and believe that He did indeed visit the Americas.

That looks like an interesting artist’s rendering of a fun “what if?” scenario.

What I see when I look at the original is a guy reclining in a huge, ornate throne-like chair or altar-y thing. I see nothing mechanical about it.

And yeah, pretty much what everyone else said. They bare a resemblance, but it’s certainly not “proof” of anything. Other than an artist somewhere has an imagination.

I dont know how to feel about this. To me this show belittles past cultures. I mean why is it that when groups who don't fall under certrain cultures get labeled as having been connected with Aliens. I mean why is it that these groups cannot be given the credit for making the objects they have made? why in accordance to these shows do "heavenly aliens" have to be given credit for things such as pyramids, etc?
