The Sims

Who here has ever played that computer game "The Sims". It is A TRIP!!! You design, build and furnish a house, create people to put in it, then have them do all sorts of things. It is really detailed!! Go check it out if you haven't tried it yet.

I dunno, I couldn't get them to the bathroom quick enough I had already had them walking around aimlessly through the house forgetting to interact with the other person! LOL
My people kept falling asleep right there on the floor wherever they were standing. I think they were trying to tell me to make them DO SOMETHING! LOL
Somebody else played today too and their person never learned to cook so the house caught on fire lol

Why did they only have one fireman?

And why couldn't I figure out how to put the walls up in my house? lol

That game is SO addicting!

Last time I played, my Sim lady's husband died and then everytime she'd go in the room where he died, she'd fall on the floor and start crying.

I got the Livin' Large expansion pak but haven't really done much with it yet.

Here's a good place to learn about tips about the game and read some really funny stuff about other people's experience with their Sim families:

Seriously, the sequels are better...at least try Sim City 2000. It's a big improvement.

I bought the Sims, really enjoyed it for a while and then didn't play it ever again. It got boring, but I'm willing to except the expansion packs could improve the lastability of this game.

The game is 100% fun, but the time they take to do stuff is not normal. I made them get up at 5am just to get them ready to go to work at 11.

I was so addicted to this game that sometimes in real life I started to wonder if someone was controling me. I talked liked the sims and whenever there was something boring going on I would jump up and down and wave like the Sims do.
I am passed that now.

(And I do love the cheats, just delete trash and bills.)

There were some ads for SimVillage on the SimCity cdrom.
It was a combination of the Sims and Simcity. So you could build your own city and run the lives of the people in the city.
Anyone seen this?

*I loved this game! (Sims-Livin' Large) When I first got it, I played for like 10 hours strait..but then after about 2 months it got boring..Hot Date and Vacation looks pretty fun, but I don't feel like wasting my money on a computer game...*

I love the sims have all of them except for the online one my favorite one is the vacation one. I made all the characters to people me know in real life found it a bit funny how the characters in sims acted very similar to the people me know in real life me even created myself and when the popup says me have to be at work in about a hour me demanded myself to get up my sim character would wake up and then go back in the bed to sleep that is so me hate waking up early in the morning smile lol.
