Ground Turkey Who uses this in place of ground beef? I switched to ground turkey about ten years ago. I was surprised at how much easier it is to chew and how little fat is left in the pan when you cook it.

It tastes similar to beef. It is great on taco's and stuff you use beef in, but may be too dramatic a taste for hambugers right off the bat. So much easier to digest .

Sometimes I do. It's also better on your digestive system. Sometimes I also use it when I want a hamburger once every blue moon. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

It's all about the seasonings. It's white meat so it can become very dry unless its seasoned well. It's way better in terms of fat content and digestion, as Supernova stated. Been on Turkey about six years now...along with Chicken and Fish...only do red meat a few times a year...CANNOT pass on my family's cooking on Holidays! And then there is the occassional burger!!!
