No, I never saw it. Is it worth the drive to Blockbuster???
I do recall when both movies came out...Rice made a big deal about Tom Cruise being cast (she hated it) but was happy with the Rosie O'Donnell mess.
Worth the drive? No. If your really bored, have a couple of hours to kill and you happen to be in Blockbuster anyway? Sure, if you're really curious. Outside of that, no, especially as someone who's never read the books, it wouldn't even begin to make an ounce of sense.
I was flipping thru channels yesterday and I saw "Queen of Damned" coming up at a later time, so I set the DVR to record it!
I'll watch it tonight, and didn't have to drive anywhere.
By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Enjoy, and let me know what you think. I think it's the outfit folks like the most.
well, if i had cash i'd bring my own screenplay to life on the big screen. alternatively, if i wanted to make something that would actually sell, i'd make dorothy dunnett's books the Lymond Chronicles into a mini series. or, combine chelsea quinn yarbro's St. Germaine series into a movie, given the public's current love for all things vampire
Do tell! What's it about? Who would you cast?
it's a story about a myth that kind of crashes into the real world
i'd cast kate lang johnson and josh hartnett for the leads
I love a good kung fu movie and it's about time we had someone to be a new Jackie Chan or the next Jet Li.
Also, I'm kind of looking forward to see how The Hunger Games translates on to the big screen. When I first read those books, I immediately thought they had the potential to make a great movie.
Do you have anyone in mind to be the next "Jet Li"?
Not really "kung fu"...but Tony Jaa is awesome.
I've only seen one move with Tony Jaa and it was called The Protector.
It was good! I need to check out some of his other movies.
Get this boy some good scripts and he just might fit the bill!
