All three short film winners I thought were the best of the nominees.
Saving Face was hard to watch.

I am worried about angelina, you know she has a eating disorder.

If Clooney wins I'm never watching the Oscars again.

Gary Oldman.

The Oscars have yielded no surprises tonight. If Viola beats Meryl I'll be shocked.

Is it my imagination or are they just NOT showing any closeups of Sheila E??? They keep panning to the violinist and Sheila is just in the background.
She looked gorgeous btw...

Sheila's hawtness will melt the camera. That's a known fact. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

I'd love for one of the un-favored to win ladies to take best actress, like Michelle Williams or Rooney Mara. If you will, so will I

Viola and Meryl could split. giving to michelle

MERYL IT IS!!!!! | |

Her performance was quite good, but I was really hoping for a nice surprise. If you will, so will I

Meryl made that movie, if she wasn't in it the film wouldn't have been a success. Its tough having to carry a whole film. [Edited 2/26/12 20:38pm] The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

Yay for Meryl!!!
Boo for Angelina not only does she look sick and unhealthy, but what's up with the femme fatale poses? That bag of bones is so full of herself. Overrated twat. “The right to be heard does not automatically include the right to be taken seriously.”

I think she's been purposely underweight the last 10 years or so to keep her face gaunt and structured, but that's compromising her shoulders and arms now. If she added about 5-10 lbs of toned upper body weight, she would look a lot better.
And this Oscar episode was very predictable. None of the winners surprised me. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

The only surprise for me was in the best documentary feature category. I'd rank the nominees in this order:
1. Pina 2. Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory 3. If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front 4. Undefeated 5. Hell and Back Again

My favorite part was seeing Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez with their backs to the camera while presenting.

I see Meryl was talking to some peeps around here. "Whatever!" I loved her speech.
Esperanza Spalding and that choir's performance of "What A Wonderful World" for the Memorium was the highlight for me. That was beautiful!
What's up with Angelina? She always been skinny but tonight was just DAMN!! I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.
